Clean, tidy bit rather old and lacking in facilities. But don't let that put you off! Amazing location and great rates makes this a comfortable and affordable nights sleep in the city :) No parking or breakfast worth noting.

Went to Bath for the weekend with a friend for a Rugby Match. The hotel was a bit tired but clean. The best thing about the hotel was the location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is limited and is available at an additional cost, but consider taking the train... More

I was a bit concerned after reading other reviews but had already booked. Although yes it would benefit from a lick of paint and the carpet was pretty grotty I can only speak of room G02 and found the bed comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly enough and as a base for a two night sightseeing trip it did... More

We stayed at the Redcar hotel in Bath in December, 2014 The location was excellent being very central. The service from reception was good and both people answered our questions without a problem. However, that is the only good point. The property was over priced for what you got. We paid £215 for the one night for 2 rooms, a... More

Bit scared to go after booking then reading reviews! Turned up and was surprised. Ok it's not the Hilton and could do with a lick of paint and a decor update, but it was great for what we needed and that was to see the sights. Stayed in travel lodges around the country that have been a lot worse.

so after reading previous reviews myself and a party of 5 were anxious to what we were heading into and expecting the worst. When we arrived we were greeted and given our room keys, 2rooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. The downstairs room was the best of them all, spacious working tv and clean nice size bathroom. The only downside was... More

Frankly, was quite worried about the cleanliness before checking in, having read the negative reviews. But when I opened the door to our room, I thought i couldn't have asked for more at 50 per night at this time of the year. Beds and bathroom were clean. All plumbings, TV, electricals were functioning well. Room was very warm. Some negative... More

This hotel has the worse beds I have ever laid on...the springs stick out and you could not get any sleep. After trying to sleep on the floor I asked for a room change...the next room was exactly the same and finally we found a frozen cold room that had a decent bed. The staff tried their best and were... If you like being baked in a furnace with no control over the temperature, making it impossible to sleep then this is the hotel for you. Tatty, mouldy, old and tired are a few words that describe this insult to the hotel industry. To be honest had I read the reviews here then I would have taken heed as they... More

I wish to advise people not to stay at this hotel. I had booked two rooms months in advance for a Xmas market trip only to find when we arrived they had sold our rooms. I was appalled at the attitude of the staff member on the reception desk who just shrugged his shoulders and really did not care that... More
