We stayed here to celebrate my Partner's 30th Birthday and we stayed in the Beau Room. It was amazing, a lovely decorated room with a four poster bed and roll top bath (no shower). Breakfast was lovely and loads to choose from. We opted for a full english and I must say the sausages were gorgeous. The staff were always... More

Apsley House hotel is excellent. It is a lovely old house, turned into a hotel, to exacting standards. But it has the feel of a lovely country house. We had the Wellington Room, very large, beautifully appointed, lovely bathroom and beautiful views. Situated just outside Bath, you are in easy walking distance of some nice pubs, and if you feel... What a great surprise!! It was Wellington's townhouse and very glamorous with private parking. Attention was paid to detail and decor, breakfast was extensive. My remembrance was that everything sparkled. Such a jewel! The owner was gracious and mentioned he was lucky to be fully booked most of the time. Lucky we had booked far in advance.

I booked the Apsley House Hotel based on the reviews from this website, and i must say we were not disappointed. Before i get onto the good stuff - i felt the pictures and the reviews were somewhat misleading.. i imagined this to be a grand house/small hotel in lovely grounds, and to be quite imposing. To be fair, it's... More

During my recent holiday to England and Wales, I was only supposed to spend a couple nights in Bath. Tired as I was from previous legs of the trip, Apsley House made up my mind for me and I ended up staying an entire week. First thing I should note is that it is not cheap to stay here; however,... My boyfriend and I stayed at Apsley House on a Friday night at the end of September. We booked the Wednesday before but were lucky enough to get a lovely room over looking the garden. Upon arrival we were met with very friendly and helpful staff. The location makes it easy to walk and relax in the park or a... More

Having just returned from our 4th stay at Apsley House, I felt compelled to write a review...everything was superb from the staff, the breakfasts,, and the rooms (we have sampled 4 different ones !) Great attention to detail ie fresh flowers in the rooms, bottled water by the bed, daily specials at breakfast, as well as our bags carried to... More

Stayed just the one night in Bath at Apsley House. One of the best rooms I've stayed in on my UK holiday. Huge room with a beautiful big bathroom. Very clean rooms and the breakfast was as good as you could ask for. Staff were excellent and I highly recommend the Apsley to anyone going to Bath &/or Stonehenge. (ps.... More
