My Mother treated us to a night away for our wedding anniversary and we chose this hotel because of the comments on tripadvisor. Firstly the good points: very helpful staff who were always asking if they could do anything to help. We have visited Bath on numerous occasions for a day trip as we live about an hour away but... We stayed in the adjoining coach house and were delighted with the self contained option. Boasting luxurious toilets, some breakfast items to get through at least one morning, free WiFi and the most comfy beds, this was ideal for our party of 4. We had access to the main house, lounge and well stocked honesty bar. We found that Bath... More

I stayed in this hotel last weekend with my husband for a 2 night break in Bath. We had the 'Romantic' room which was a delight. A very large comfortable four poster bed with views out of the huge window over Baths valley. We were a short walk from the city and all the sights. There was plenty of parking... More

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night after booking a late offer listed on the website a few days beforehand. We arrived at the hotel and were shown to our room after being greeted by Georgina, a lovely and very helpful lady who told us everything we might need to know about the city, which was very helpful. We... More

We had a great stay for two nights in May. It was a helpful touch that they sent a list of restaurants in advance and were able to make reservations for us- Circus Restaurant and Sotto Sotto were great. The gardens and grounds were lovely. It's a little walk to main Bath. I would strongly recommend either a GPS or... More

The hotel excelled in every aspect over which it has control. Beautiful, large room (apparently used by Wellington), great breakfast, good hospitality. Attention paid to every detail. Single negative was that it is not in easy walking distance to town (although the bus stops right at the front door). If you have a car the there can be no better... More

We spent three wonderful nights in the well-appointed and comfortable Waterloo Room. As others have testified, the staff is simply the best--so hospitable and going the extra mile to make your stay in Bath perfect. Also, as others have said, the Inn is a good distance from the city center, so the bus is a good alternative to walking. The... More

We were able to stay here 3 nights and loved it. The breakfast was fabulous, if you were hungry when you left, it was your fault. The hotel was beautiful, the staff wonderful and extremely helpful. We loved it and would recommend it and would stay there again if we are in the area.

We were staying in bath for one night only, to attend a concert in the centre. Apsley House fitted the bill perfectly, having a 24 hour reception (on call). As it happened, the front door is locked at ten but you are given a front door key which was perfect. We got back very late, but it was comforting to... More

This has the nicest, most gracious people running it. They made suggestions, inquired when we returned. The Copenhagen room is just right. The breakfast served each morning is quite elaborate and completely yummy
