I stayed here for one night with my cousin and a friend on a girls luxury weekend - I have never felt better spoiled. We had Eggs Benedict breakfast that was to die for - service at the restaurant was really top standard and every detail had been attended to. The waitress was so lovely and warm and couldn't do... We stayed at Apsley House for 5 nights in June. Our first night was in the Garden Suite and the remaining four nights were spent in Morinngside. Both rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and have large bathrooms. The service at Apsley House is flawless, both at the front desk and in the dining room. Breakfasts were well prepared with... More

This is a lovely house with beautiful views. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. It is a bus ride out of Bath in Newbridge Hill but with easy access. I actually prefer less chintz and more modern but the bathroom lived up to that. I would stay again.

My partner and I selected this hotel from the TripAdvisor reviews, and were not disappointed. We stayed only one night but would have been happy to stay longer. The staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. We selected the Romantic room which lived up to it's name. Spacious, comfortable and a great view. Our receptionist recommended a great Italian restaurant... More

Unfortunately our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and we cannot recommend this accommodation at all. As we were travelling with our 13mth old daughter, we booked the Coach House - (Self catering unit) to give us flexibility and space for her for a two night stay, but checked out after one night. On arrival I noticed the floors... More

Amazing place!! From arriving staff were super pleasant and more than helpful. Parking at front of hotel was perfect. Staff told us about hotel on checking in and then showed us to our room. The mornington. It was a birthday treat for myself and partner. The staff had left a delightful birthday card and some treats. Excellent thoughtfulness!! The room... More

Of the hotels stayed at during our visit to the UK the Apsley House in Bath stands out as the most comfortable, well appointed, most satisfying. The well trained employees execute their duties flawlessly adding to the enjoyment. Breakfast provided a wide variety of choices complemented by the wonderful service. For the tourist attractions in Bath Center I would recommend... More

Apsley House Hotel is located a short distance from the Bath city centre and offers a calm, charming abode for those seeking a little something special, more private while visiting this city. I spent only one night here with my family, but it was a pleasant experience for us.The house is almost exactly what I expected of a country house... More

...it is a beautiful house tastefully presented and furnished for the period. We stayed in the Wellington room which was absolutely delightful and with a lovely view from the so comfy bed over the Avon valley. Very nice breakfasts too. A super refurbished bathroom too with roll-top slipper bath and a separate shower cubicle. The only criticisms would be the... More

To star with, this hotel has extremely friendly staff. They greeted us with a smile an immediately started to do everything they could to help us enjoy our stay in Bath. They gave us an orientation of the town and recommendations on what to do and what to see. The hotel is about 2 miles from town. It is a... More
