I have just returned after a two night stay at Apsley House Hotel. Firstly, the service is fantastic. From the moment you arrive you are given maps to enable you to make the most of your stay and given recommendations for some excellent restaurants. My husband and I stayed in the Wellesey room on the ground floor with a four... More

A warm welcome awaits you at this lovely friendly, comfortable hotel. The staff are excellent, the food delicious and the rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Little extras help to make this a memorable stay e.g. staff taking the time to ensure you know about local places to eat, places to visit, transport availability. Breakfasts were superb - lots... The person who checked us in was SO helpful. The room was our favorite of our three nights in the countryside. People from the US will find this a perfect spot to stay in Bath!! The breakfast and overall setting was delightful.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful house for 1 night during our minimoon to the South West. Because we have been the the twilight spa session at Bath Spa we didnt arrive to the hotel until about 9:30pm. This was lucky as the reception desk closes at 10pm, which is fine but worth noting if you think you... More

The Absley House is a first rate B & B, not far from downtown Bath. Upon check-in, you get a feel for the level of service as reception was warm and welcoming. The house is elegant and the rooms are quaint, with comfortable beds and decent bathrooms. Breakfast was a real treat with a fair selection and a high level... More

This is a beautiful house which has been turned into one of the most charming hotels in Bath. The beds are not particularly nice, and the rooms are not the most air Conditioned (not really at all) but what it lacks in ammenities it makes up for in charm. The bathrooms are fully renovated and modern, and internet is avaliable... More

The Apsley House is a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast with a view each morning was beyond excellent. The grounds were beautiful. The rooms were very lovely and richly appointed with everything you need. The city center is a short car ride and has a lot to so and see. A memorable stay in a great city.

Having just come back from Apsley house for a surprise birthday weekend all I can say is wow. Im not sure whether to refer to it as a B&B or a hotel, both dont really fit but as a place to stay you must stay here and we will certainly be returning in the future! the staff are lovely and... More

I stayed here for one night with my cousin and a friend on a girls luxury weekend - I have never felt better spoiled. We had Eggs Benedict breakfast that was to die for - service at the restaurant was really top standard and every detail had been attended to. The waitress was so lovely and warm and couldn't do... We stayed at Apsley House for 5 nights in June. Our first night was in the Garden Suite and the remaining four nights were spent in Morinngside. Both rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and have large bathrooms. The service at Apsley House is flawless, both at the front desk and in the dining room. Breakfasts were well prepared with... More
