Had two nights here as a pre Christmas break with hubby. What a find! I can't rate the place or the staff highly enough. It's like staying at a friends who have a stately home! Check in was easy and we were shown to our room (romantic) the room was fab, great views and great bathroom! Bed was very comfy.... More

From the very welcoming and informative arrival, the beautiful hotel, luxurious room with all the added extras, the friendly staff with their helpful city knowledge and then the amazing breakfast... The only thing wrong with our stay is that we didn't book a second night.

We recently stayed at Apsley House for a special occasion, that occasion was that I was taking my girlfriend away for the weekend to propose. I did my research before booking a hotel and after a few hours and phone calls I was confident that Apsley House Hotel was the best hotel for us. I'm pleased to say I was... More

We stayed two nights at Apsley Hotel in December we were on holidays with our 10 year old son. What a wonderful place our friends John and Anna found for us. The service, the room and the food was exceptional. The effort that this beautiful Hotel put in to making our stay memorable was outstanding. I would recommend this beautiful... More

We stayed at Apsley House for a few nights in November. It is a little ways outside of the city center, but there is a bus top right outside the hotel...about a 10 minute ride. The hotel is beautifully appointed, the rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was truly wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.

It is a 30 minute walk, down hill, into the centre of Bath. The route is nice enough, mostly through parks. We had a nice spacious room, although our slipper bath was small and did not fit 2 people. 2 smaller than average people at that. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff very helpful. I did think it... More

We stayed for 2 nights in early December for a Christmas shopping weekend in Bath. We found the staff very friendly, polite and welcoming. Our room was lovely, bed very comfortable and with Molton brown toiletries. We loved the honesty bar with a cosy feel and a great Christmas tree and the breakfast was really good. Great selection and a... More

We stayed at Apsley house for 2 nights at the end of November. Staff were lovely. Couldn't do enough for you. We stayed in Salamanca on the second floor, which overlooked the garden. It was a lovely room with a modern bathroom. It was a 30 minute walk into the city but it was a nice walk which passed by... More

What a fantastic hotel , opulently impressive with attentive staff and a breakfast worth the visit alone. Apsley is a little outside the centre but a tranquil place with views to get the camera out for . I won't stay anywhere else in Bath now I have found this ...
