Discovered bed bugs after being bitten, phoned to inform the owners and they couldn't care less!! Then informed me that it happens from time to time. But it was okay as I was only person to get bitten by them so it can't be a problem and I'll have a look! If you do go and stay in room 2... More

The address shown here is different from where we stayed, but the name and descriptions match. We stayed at 31 Crescent Gardens, Bath, BA1 2NB. It is only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Bath. The staff (presumably the owners) are quite friendly. We arrived early in the afternoon, while the rooms were still being cleaned. We could... More

cramped, bed bugs, filth, long walk with luggage to on site parking. Trip adviser wants more information, I think what I have written is quite enough, Bath is a lovely place, but to go back would bring memories of this awful place. We came home early and had to wash all our clothes and luggage because of the bed bugs

Stayed here 1 night whilst touring UK. Only reason for 2* is the 15 mins walk to city centre and Roman Baths etc. The place is very rundown, dated and needs a good clean. Unlike other reviews, we did meet the owner who was quite friendly. Not the most comfortable bed we have slept in but the sheets were crisp... More

A convenient location in Bath but rather grubby with very unprofessional owners. We arrived to find that you had to ring a number to be told a code to get in the door then there was a scrappy piece of paper with our name and room number on it in the foyer. The room was tiny and not very clean... More

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in it should be shut down by the health inspector.a very rude couple who run it , we should have been staying for the weekend but we left after our first night. As we were informed the next morning our rooms would be £80 which was different to our booking confirmation... More

I booked this via the internet and it looked ok. Foolishly I did not notice that it did not have any star or other ratings-- we were just pleased to book what was supposed to be the last room so near the centre of the city. Oh dear !! the first inkling of something not right was the label posted... More

I booked this as we couldnt seem to find anything reasonably priced for one night and stupidly didn't look at the reviews on trip advisor. We arrived at 6.00 pm on Friday 2 may and were in a hurry to meet friends before going to the rugby. We were shown to the dirtiest room I've ever seen. Dusty. Cobwebs. Dirty... More

Everything in this B & B was dirty, dated and appallingly amateurish. The portrait of Queen Victoria and other delights kept reminding you you were in Britain and therefore not to expect too much in terms of hospitality and service. But that was beyond the joke. This place had not been properly cleaned for years and probably furnished from a charity... More

We arrived at 6:30pm, the reception was already closed, I couldn't believe it, I never stayed in a place where there is no one to receive you. Everything is self-service, we paid 55 pound for the room, and they charged 2 pound for paying by debt card. We called the service number but no one answered the phone! The breakfast... More
