I was at Oldfields for just a couple nights.. when i arrived i was really tired and the welcome was so cosy that it made me feel at home. The beds are absolutely perfect, and so are the interiors, very well decored and wonderfully kept. Will surely come back!!

I had booked after reading the positive reviews and I am happy to confirm that we were not dissappointed. Located just a 10 mins walk away from the town centre, they have comfortable rooms, homemade breakfast, very friendly staff... The bathroom, towels, bathrobes and bed sheets were perfectly clean however I wish I had taken with me a pair of... More

Stayed for 1 night in a double luxury room. |Room was nice, albeit a little on the small side, but the bed was comfortable. Furnishings and TV okay. En-suite was functional although again, a little on the smalll side. One person cubicle shower but again, worked okay and good pressure. For what I paid to stay the one night here,... More

We stayed at Oldfields House for three nights for my Girlfriends birthday. We selected the hotel based on location and previous guest reviews and we were not disappointed. The welcome, the rooms and the service were all very nice. The shower was pretty small but that did not bother us too much. The location just outside the city and a... More

The Oldfields is well located, near the centre of bath, just up a hill. It's near enough that you can walk to everything, but not so near that the atmosphere is too noisy. The Hotel is magnificent, the garden is lovely, and the breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. There is a lovely lounge area as... More

Barbara and Chris with their fantastic team of ladies, were excellent hosts for our 9 girls weekend away. Great location just on the outskirts of Bath. Lovely luxurious rooms. fabulously delicious breakfast. They were so accommodating and helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. would thoroughly recommend.

Booked as a group of 8, responsible for organising a conference in Bath. I arrived by train and as the web site stated the hotel was only a few minutes walk from Bath Spa station, I decided to walk, 30 mins later after a walk up a long steep hill, dragging a suitcase, I arrived exhausted. However I was given... More

We are so sorry that you found the walk to Oldfields exhausting, but we assure you that the majority of our guests (including many TripAdvisor reviewers) take 15 minutes up the hill and 10 minutes down the hill. The web site does explain that the single rooms are in the loft, perhaps you missed that information while browsing. We always... More

Our room was very good with a large comfortable bed and good bathroom. If it wasn't England in April, the balcony would have been superb too! The service was really good, with all the staff seeming to enjoy what they are doing and having a laugh and smile. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming from start to end. The... More

Very warm reception on arrival - There wasn't enough parking in grounds so we parked on the street with a permit - absolutely no problems. We didn't use the car at all as it was a 10 minute walk into city downhill one way then uphill on return, but we managed it no problem. Room no 10 had a Four... More
