Oldfields is a small comfortable hotel just 10 minutes walk from the centre of bath. Everything was spotlessly clean, with large modern bedrooms and a cosy welcoming lounge. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. More

My partner & I travelled to Bath in between Christmas & New Year - having only decided about a month beforehand. We googled Guesthouses in the area and stumbled across Oldfields. We arrived at a beautiful, original "bath stone" residence, with parking - went in and were met by a lovely young lady who signed us in and sat with... More

We stayed for a 3 nights in December 2011. We were greeted with hot mulled wine and mince pies. The room was lovely with Molten Brown products in the bathroom. The car park is slightly difficult to manouver into and you need to be alert for the entrance from the main road. We left the car parked and walked into... More

Oldfields House is within a reasonable distance from town center and is good in most aspects. Room was clean and the service was really good. More

Stayed in the small single room. Had Molton brown products and an excellent power shower. Breakfast was perfect. The Sausages and bacon excellent quality and likely local sourced. shame only has to be there one night. 5 pound taxi from the station. Has ample parking if you are driving. More

Booked this hotel based on a previous visit in January 2011. The room we got this time round was a lot bigger than the one we had previously, for only a smidgen more - wish I'd known this the first time we booked! We had a ground-floor room which was next to the kitchen so in the morning we could... More

Lovely hotel and the best welcome we have ever experienced. After a long drive it was really lovely to have a pot of tea in the cosy lounge on arrival. The room was elegant and very comfortable and breakfast was outstanding. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal and walking distance from the City centre. More

My daughter and I had stayed at Oldfields before and had a lovely time so it was great to come again, this time for the christmas markets too! We checked into our room and as usual the staff were warm and friendly. We had a slight problem when that evening my daughter went to use the jacuzzi which wouldn't work.... More

The title sums it up really. I stayed with my partner as she wanted to visit the Christmas markets and with just a 10 minute walk into town (but far enough outside for it to be extremely peaceful) Oldfields was perfect. The welcome was extremely friendly as after a long drive a pot of tea was most welcome. We had... More
