Our stay in Bath was perfect in every way. We received a warm welcome at Oldfields and were given tea in the Drawing Room on arrival. Our bedroom was bright and well furnished and the tea tray had fresh milk. The bathroom had a bath and shower with luxury Molten Brown products. Bathrobes and large soft towels were provided and... more

Rooms clean, very decorative but small. Managers seemed more interested in where you had parked your car. Very annoying! Very small car park, bring the mini! Beware that if you are one minute late for breakfast you will not be allowed a cooked option. We waited for two minutes for service and were then told we were two minutes late... more

After a quite harrowing drive through the city in search of this hotel in the evening traffic, we were warmly welcomed by Julia with a cup of tea and loads of helpful information about Bath...the best way to walk into the town, what to see, where to eat, etc. The old house is lovely, situated on a hill overlooking the... more

We have just spent a lovely weekend at this B & B. When we arrived we were welcomed by the staff, we were offered coffee on arrival. We booked a Queen Size Superior Room, and everything was just perfect, we could not fault the room at all, it was very comfortable and pleasant, they supply tea and coffee facilities in... more

This is a decent establishment in one of Bath's B and B heartlands. It's handily located, about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and near to the train station, with local facilities. We stayed in one of the attic rooms, the cheapest at just under £100 a night. The room was comfortable - though the bed was slightly soft... more

We are a family of four adults who went on a driving holiday around England and stopped over at Bath. We found Old fields perfect for us.. well located ,large rooms with convenient sized bathrooms attached. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Parking is a bit tight though so you have to be lucky to get a slot in... more

We just returned from a lovelly three day break (Second May Bank Holiday in the UK) and are minds and souls are still back at Oldfields! We wanted the cheapest option for a double bedroom and, we chose room #15 in the Eves (the attic of the hotel) for £99 including breakfast. I researched many of the hotels in the... more

Just spent 4 nights here staying in a room (#10) with king bed, Jacuzzi, and large balcony. Very comfortable, quiet, pleasant and helpful staff, and good location relative to downtown Bath (appx. a 10-min walk downhill from the hotel). Weren't able to enjoy the balcony very much because the weather was uncooperative. But enjoyed everything else about our stay. Would... more

We needed a quite weekend away, found this place which seemed nice from various sites. We were surprised - the quality of staff, attention to detail far surpassed our expectation. Facilities for all needs were on hand and even anticipated! We'd go back tomorrow more
