I have just spent a weekend in Bath on a 'shop til you drop' weekend with 3 friends. We stayed at the Oldfields Hotel which was great. The service especially was fantastic, the manager could not have done more for us. Tea/coffee when we arrived, ice for our drinks in our rooms, ice bucket and glasses for the wine we... more

After a mediocre hotel in Exeter over the summer I spent an enormous amount of time researching hotels in Bath for a half term break. And walking into Oldfields I felt it had all been worth it. The door was opened an we were greeted warmly by one of the managers, a lovely guy. He settled us into the lounge... more

I recently stayed at Oldfields with a girl friend and we loved the property. The stff greeted us with coffee, a map and suggestions for our stay. we loved our twin room and made full use of the molten brown products. Breakfast in the lovely dining room were amazing and the champagne and orange juice set us up for the... more

We stayed here for our 1 year anniversary. The view of the house look impressive (all grand and historic). My boyfriend booked us the four poster bedroom which had it's own entrance (I think we shared with one other room but they weren't there!). Yes we weren't exactly close to Bath central - but it was only a 10-15 min... more

We were welcomed with fresh coffee and information on Bath to mull over. Our room was a four poster with a jacuzzi bath. There was unlimited hot water and use of MoltonBrown Products. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was crisp white cotton, perfect. Breakfast was delicious. The attention to detail, i.e. fresh fruit, fresh flowers and even champagne... more

You are greated with a tea or coffee if you wish and the personal service continues throughout your stay. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and of a high quality. The in room tea tray had real milk and that is an example of the extra touches that makes this hotel stand out. Great nights sleep, the location is quiet... more

Oldfields is a beautiful bed & breakfast full of charm and comfort. We had a very large and comfortable room with a great bathroom as well. Breakfast was outstanding every day and the surrounding neighborhood is beautiful as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful suggesting restaurants and pubs. The walk to downtown Bath is actually a bit more... more

From the moment we were warmly greeted at the front door to signing for the bill we were both extremely happy with our visit to Oldfields. Everything was as advertised and more... The pictures advertised were accurate, service was impeccable and the extra touches available (flowers, champagne) and the way they were presented was just prefect. Bed was extremely comfortable,... more

We received a warm welcome at this family run hotel. The staff were very helpful and explained clearly how to get to town. A little out of the centre and on a hill, it is a bit of a walk for the eldery or un-fit, however at least you can leave your car at the hotel without paying ridiculous parking... more
