We chose this B&B because there was off street parking as I read in guidebooks that parking can be difficult in Bath. The parking was just a driveway but there were other parks available on the street. If you can, try to get the train into bath rather than take a car. The lady who runs the B&B is lovely.... more

My mother rang to arrange a stay at this B&B during my upcoming wedding at the Royal Crescent Hotel. She was hoping to stay there with my grandmother and 3 of my siblings (12, 15 & 17). The woman who spoke to my mother merely said "we have nothing suitable for you". I often stay in Bath with my fiancee... more

We chose Parkside from Rick Steve's recommendations for Bath and were not disappointed in any way during our two night stay. The price was great (75 GBP guaranteed for Rick Steve's readers) especially for the time of year. Mrs. Lynall was funny and welcoming, but not intrusive. We came and went as we pleased, trying to stay quiet of course.... more

My friend and I traveled to England and our first stay was at the Parkside in Bath. It was recommended in the Rick Steve's guide - and it did not disappoint! Like other reviews have said, the location is just outside the city center, just an easy walk through the Park that houses the Royal Crescent. It is 10 minutes... more

We had an en suite room, with a view overlooking the back garden. The location was very good, with all the major sites in Bath within 10 minutes walk. The room was clean and the house was reasonably quiet. The full breakfast in the morning was more than enough to power us through the start of the day. The proprietor... more

We stayed at Parkside just this weekend. It was a perfect couple of nights. It's close to the centre, but just outside the actual centre so it is very quiet, overlooking some private allotments/gardens. It is less than 10mins walk to the centre. Rooms are very clean. There are the small touches, like tea/coffee facilities in rooms with Fairtrade products.... more

My husband and I just returned from a 2 week trip to England and France. Bath was the first stop on our trip and we couldn't have chosen a better bed and breakfast to start with. Mrs. Lydall, the owner, is very kind and hospitable-she even washed a skirt on whcih I had spilt chocolate. The English breakfast was delicious:... more

This was just a gorgeous room - all greens and blues, huge room, high ceilings, great bathroom, very pleasant. Terrific location, easy walk throught the park to the centre of everything, parking opposite was free and unrestricted, gorgeous room and linens, lovely breakfast room and yummy breakfast. All in all, found this very welcoming, convenient and comfortable. Would love to... more
