So don't believe what is in Rick Steve's book. This is not a welcoming B&B. There is no free parking you have to leave your car in a carpark overnight and pay. On arrive after ringing the doorbell many times I found the owner relaxing in a chair on the back lawn oblivious to the fact that there was a... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Parkside and it offered everything we were after - it was quiet, cosy, clean, centrally located and the owner was friendly and keen to help wherever possible. Breakfast was yummy too, which is always a bonus! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Bath that doesn't... More

This was one of the more modestly priced B&B's, but I was disappointed and would not recommend this place. I really question the star rating for this place. I stayed in February and the room was FREEZING! I had to sleep in clothes and put on two extra blankets just to try and be comfortable. The heat only comes on... More

We stayed two nights at Parkside and was lucky to have the one and only parking space on the drive. We had the twin room no 3 it was large and overlooked the garden, it was also very clean and the beds were very comfy. But when we put on the light to the on suite the extractor fan was... More

This is an inexpensive B & B. Our room was O.K. and had a nice garden view. She was kind enough to let us park our car up on her driveway as there is no street parking. She is elderly has her own thoughts on things; but she is friendly.

This B&B was ok but Inge, the hostess, was adamant about not serving breakfast before 8am. We had a tour to check in for at 8:15am across town and she wouldn't even allow us to have a cold breakfast a little early, not a container of yogurt, not even a piece of fruit to take with us. This was very... More

Lady was not that friendly or helpful. Did not explain clearly about parking on the street and I got a parking ticket. Room had a nice view of the garden. WIFI in the breakfast room but not in my room

We spent 2 nights here, our first nights in England. The home was lovely and easy to find and within easy walking distance of the sights. Inge was delightful and we enjoyed talking with her very much. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a view to the pretty back yard. We would happily stay here again.

We arrived late in the afternoon we felt very uncomfortable with the owner. She made us feel as if she was doing us a favor by staying in her Bed and breakfast. They are by definition friendly places where the owner chats with the guest and makes them feel at home. She was not,and her actions were perfunctory. What made... More

The house is immaculate and the breakfast was delicious! Great location for walking to most everything. Since the house is off the main road, it is quiet. We parked a Volvo station wagon in the driveway - pretty tight, but nice to have a spot for it! The owner was friendly and kind.
