We booked this through Trip Advisor. What a fantastic place! We were five women on a 40th birthday/christmas shopping trip. We had a wonderful time and can't express highly enough the helpfulness and high standard of this guest house! Jane went out of her way to help us with our bags, what a star! Thank you so much for making... more

We stayed here for two nights with our children aged 10, 12 and 14. It is in a good location for the buses which run into Bath every 15 minutes, about £2 a person bus fare. Although on a fairly busy road the rooms are very quiet. It is essentially a guest house (although an excellent one!), and does not... more

I booked a two night stay after visiting the hotels' web site which I felt gave a very fair representation of what is provided. The decor is a bit chincy and dated but it's very clean, warm and Jane can't do enough for the guests. They went out of their way to accomodate our children next to our room (actually... more

This place was decent, but quite expensive for what it was - an average B&B outside the centre of town. It could have been cleaner (someone with muddy shoes/boots had clearly traipsed through the room and bathroom, leaving chunks of mud on the floor) and the beds weren't terribly comfortable. Pillows were hard too. That said, the breakfast was nice... more

Don't let the slight distance from the town center turn you away. The Aquae Sulis is the perfect spot, especially if you're traveling with kids. Jane and her family are extremely friendly and super helpful - they even mailed a jacket we forgot to pack, carefully wrapping a digital camera we had left in its pocket! The rooms are very... more

Arriving at this hotel very early, we enquired whether it was possible to leave the car in the car park in order to spend the afternoon in the city. A delightful welcome followed and, after a brief wait we were shown to our room. This would not, I am sure, have happened if we had elected to stay at a... more

We were quite comfortable here for a short stay on March 23. We had to leave too early to try the breakfast, so no comment there. We had one of the smaller en suite double rooms, which, although not large by any means, was not tiny and cramped like other small B&B double rooms we had seen elsewhere in England.... more

We stayed at the Aquae Sulis for 3 days in a triple room and were very happy with the stay. Comfortable calm stay and far away from the madding crowds of London. I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday with my mom and boyfriend. Jane was very nice and helpful and we had a good time in Bath. Would definitely go here... more

My wife and I stayed one night at Aquae Sulis in early October on our way from London to Wales. We arrived a little late (8 PM) and had some trouble rousing our host, but once we found her she was quite welcoming and helpful. I recall having a few anxious moments, but I think that was largely due to... more
