My partner visited this b&b in January 2015 for my birthday. It's a great location as everything is in walking distance & the free car park is a good size. The room we stayed was spacious, the bed was comfortable & our room had a en suite. The toilet leaked a bit on floor but it didn't bother us &... More

Lovely rooms, the trains are not a problem as you don't hear them whilst in the annex. If you are visiting Bath there is no better place to stay, the proximity to the city centre is ideal and the walk into town is lovely.

Stayed here a couple of times in the past few months. Clean, comfortable and great location with parking. On one occasion I was disappointed to have no hot water in my shower and even more disappointed not to really get a sincere apology when I informed staff at breakfast. The owners sometimes give you the impression that you are more... More

We are so sorry you had a problem with your shower, but talking to reception would have helped more as they would have been in a position to help as opposed to breakfast staff as they would have been busy with breakfast duties. As all showers are electric, only improper use would have resulted in no water as the dial... More

My sister and I based our choice of hotel on Trip Advisor reviews and they were not wrong! When we arrived we were slightly anxious at first by the proximity of the annexe, where the twin rooms are, to the railway line but had been reassured on the 'phone that most guests had not heard the trains. In fact secondary... More

Stayed here recently on a girls' trip to Bath, had a very comfortable stay. Pros: - Excellent location - minutes walk from town, easy to drive to and quiet - Large - the room was very spacious and the bathroom a good size - Well furnished - the double bed and one of the singles in our family room were... Thank you for writing a review of your recent stay with us, it is always good to hear what past guests like or dislike about their stay. This particular family room is one of our most popular as it is a large spacious, elegant, high ceilinged room, with a generous helping of Victorian charm. This room is due to be... More

Pulteney House is a Grade 2 Listed Building, meaning it is protected by law and severely restricted in what changes or alterations, if any, can be made to it. It is a fine, detached 19th century (I am guessing) country house, built of the lovely local yellow Bath stone. It is set back from the street in its own ground,... More

We stayed here for a great weekend break. The room & bed were great, the owners & staff very friendly, they've on site private parking & the breakfast menu & quality was fantastic. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the town centre, great location. The only slight... & it is slight downside was our shower.... Went from... More

We stayed at Pulteney house as they could accommodate all our family members, ten in all, including two young children. We wanted somewhere we could all meet as the children, all grown up now, live in different parts of the country. We needed to stay close to all the attractions that Bath has to offer and where we could easily... More

Had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the hotel facilities. The hotel is situated very near to the centre of Bath and all the attractions that Bath has to offer. To have use of the hotel's car park is very important to me. Will be back.

Great location for leaving the car and walking into Bath. Stayed four nights, best value locally for the location. Phenomenal breakfasts, staff very helpful and on hand. Rooms decorated beautifully and guests facilities include free wifi, use of a communal drawing room and pc. Room could be a bit warmer and shower not the most powerful but that is me... More
