I have stayed in a few places in Bath, over the last 4 years The youngest was at University here However this has got to be one of the best. It's a beautiful house, in a perfect location (10 mins walk to the city centre) Really nice owners and staff Great breakfast Decent value for money We will be back

The Pulteney House is a very nice B&B situated conveniently for visiting the centre of Bath. Plenty of parking and a lovely building. The room was very nice, clean and well appointed. The bed was a bit soft but as that comes down to personal preference I can't complain. The en-suite bathroom was compact and clean with a glass shower... More

This place has a beautiful garden and is a great location for a stay in Bath. It is easy to find and is a short and simple 10 minute(at most) walk from the train station. A walk into town centre is a pleasant stroll back over the bridge. I stayed in the annex in room 19 which is an attractive... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and had the family room on the first floor. This was a spacious room and was beautifully decorated. The made to order breakfast was fantastic and there were many choices to choose from. It is just a few minutes walk across the bridge to the city center so the location was excellent. We would... My wife and I chose Pulteney House after reading that many good reviews on this site and were not disappointed. On arrival we were greeted by the owner who made us feel welcome straight away and escorted us to our room. We had booked a four poster bedroom and we were very impressed with it. A comfortable bed, plenty of... More

I stayed at Pulteney House over the weekend of Bath Boules, an event in which I was involved with my Citroën H-Van. What a good choice it was, with everything as one would expect and wish for. Lovely clean and well-prepared room, and, although small, perfectly adequate. Breakfast was superb, and set me up for the day, and my cycle... More

We stayed for two nights whilst visiting Bath University and found the location to be excellent - a brisk hike uphill for half an hour through fantastic countryside and over the Kennet and Avon canal with views right across Bath. We had booked two single rooms: they were not big but were certainly big enough. Both rooms had been decorated... More

Stayed here with friends and we were given a family room, a welcome relief as often us three friends are usually given a twin room with a camp bed. The décor was lovely, plenty of storage within the room and great music system. The double glazing obviously worked as I hadn't realised there was a train line at the bottom... More

We stayed at Pulteney House for a short break over the Bank holiday weekend in May and it was the perfect base to explore all that the beautiful city of Bath has to offer, we could just leave our car in their car park and walk everywhere which suited us down to the ground, Bath City center is a short... The hotel is a lovely old house with beautiful gardens. The staff were friendly and gave a very good service. Our room was ready for our arrival and was nice and clean. The breakfast menu is amazing and the food was so tasty. I highly recommend this hotel: the location is fantastic - 10 minutes walk into the Bath city... More
