We have just stayed at this hotel for a short city break. The location is fantastic, minutes walk away from the canal which we spent lots of time watching the narrow boats coming down and a short walk from the city centre. We parked the car in the car park on the day we arrived and didn't use it at... more

We went to Bath for 3 days and stayed at this hotel.... Location: GREAT! We parked when we arrived and didn't used the car until we left even though I'm heavily pregnant and couldn't walk long distances. Also our room had was really quiet (requested) Service: the staff were wonderful, a 5* service. From extra pillows for me & help... more

I have stayed at this hotel frequently over the past three years before it became a Travelodge and I was alway impressed with the service and facilities. My most recent visit was the complete opposite. Although the room (and rates) were favourable the service has certainly deteriorated. My colleague and I were greeted by a receptionist who, by all appearances... more

I stayed here with 2 girlfriends for one night. We had spent the previos night at the Bath Central the night before. The hotel looks great, lovely location, rooms are clean and modern. Free parking and an easy walk into town. How ever we got the sleepnes night that we had expected at the Bath central!! A group of men... more

Having stayed at the other Travelodge in the centre of Bath I thought I would try the new one as the rates were much more cheaper. On first impressions I thought the hotel was clean and looked very fresh. Reception staff were very helpful and pointed out the walk into the town centre. The room although clean and fresh had... more

Just stayed at Bath Waterside travelodge. We had a room at the back overlooking the water, which was lovely. Room was spacious and clean. 10 minutes walk from centre. Will definitely go back. more

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and I'll begin with the good points. Our room had obviously been recently renovated. The fixtures and fittings were of good quality and (almost) everything worked properly. The hotel is well situated, with easy access to the town and railway station. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, providing lots... more

Stayed only one night, but would have been happy to stay longer. Ground floor car park facing room. Furniture nice, room compact but fine. Bed excellent, two linked singles, and bigger than the normal Travelodge bed. bathroom a bit tired. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Didn't eat there, or use the cafe/bar. Reception area very smart. A big plus... more

I booked this hotel 4/5 months before my stay so got the room for £19 a night. So stayed for 2 nights for £38. What a bargain, as the room we had was briliant. Top quality beds and even flat screen tv. We also had a waterside view. The hotel even has free parking. The location is great, 5/10 mins... more

To be fair Travelodge do make it clear that this Travelodge is undergoing a refit and to 'bear with us'. However Travelodge do not make it clear just how appalling this refit is. On talking to the staff it would seem that most of them have been retained from Menzies, the last owners. Personally we thought this made our experience... more
