We stayed for two nights and the big problem was the drunks who meet up from early each morning outside the gate to the path by the river. On the second night they brought their dogs into the car park (where they defacated) and onto the decking outside our room where they got them jumping over low walls for their... more

We stayed here one night when visiting the university. We often stay in Travelodges so I wasn't expecting anything fancy but.... Check in wasn't good. The poor chap on the desk was alone, didn't speak very good English and was really struggling. It took a long time. We were relieved to see that the restaurant was open for another 35... more

Great location on river / canal close to lock but everything is extra including a smile! We travelled by rail to Bath Spa for a wedding and the hotel was easy walk from Rail Station but were told we couldn't check-in until 12 noon and it would cost £10 extra. Can we leave luggage? - sorry no left luggage facilities.... more

This is a great budget hotel for a visit to a beautiful location. The room is basic but clean, and we found the staff to be polite and friendly. It is only a short walk to all the local attractions. Parking can be a problem if you go out for the evening and come back late. The breakfast was pretty... more

We stayed here for one night on the 24th May. We had a room at the front of the hotel, and if I were to stay again I would request a room at the back. There was no way of adjusting the temperature in the room so we had to sleep with the window open and as there was a... more

Ive stopped in Bath 3 times over the last 2 years once at the Central Travelodge which I wouldnt recommend what with rude staff and terrible noise all night gave me a sleepless night. My second visit was solo for a visit to the spa on Thursday 30th April 2009 my room was over the cafe/bar overlooking the school and... more

The Travelodge was exactly as expected. Basic, a bit noisy (our room was right next to a giant air-conditioning unit), and service was OK. However, the price was very good for Bath (£29) and the location decent (about 5 mins from the city centre). As we were attending a wedding, it ticked all the boxes for us as we only... more

The hotel was well situated on the riverside which was a 10 min walk up to the centre of Bath. We stayed in a family room which was large enough to contain us all for 3 nights - two single pull out beds and a big enough double which was very comfy. Overall great value for money and the ideal... more

Location is close to city centre and big car park which is free. However the customer service from the ladies at the front of reception was appalling. We arrived at 2.45pm and were left standing there and when we were finally acknowledged, we were snapped at that check in isn't until 3pm. When we finally returned 15mins later to check... more

I stayed at the Travelodge Waterside on the Saturday of the May Bank Holiday. I arrived at the hotel to find a large car park which is free! The location of the hotel is excellent, as once you've parked up, you can walk in to central Bath without having to venture out in your car! The hotel is clean and... more
