Travelodge, by the implication of its name, is more of a 'rest stop' on a journey than a destination. Bath Waterside is different because Bath is very much a destination for tourists. This hotel reflects that, and offers more than your average budget hotel. I've stayed in different hotels in central Bath over several years, visiting relatives - and Bath... More

Fantastic location for a hotel in Bath. It is a 10 minute brisk walk or 15 minutes at a leisurely pace to all the main attractions in Bath. The room was large enough and the bed was very comfy. The rate was fantastic as we booked well in advance. Once again the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. Coffee... More

The bathroom was in a poor state of maintenance, peeling floor, loose disabled fixtures on the bathroom wall, broken door catch so couldn't shut the door, wrong size plug for the sink so unable to fill

The Bath Waterside is absolutely fantastic !!! It has helpful, genuine, kind, caring staff that ensure your stay is more than satisfactory - its exceptional. The room, food, bar and everything about this hotel myself and my wife adored. I've stayed at many hotels in my life but this one is a MUST. I intend to re-book ASAP. I strongly... More

A bit tired was our impression of this hotel. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work, making the whole room smell damp and musty. Our towels were removed and not replaced - embarrassing when you reach for one after a shower ... Lovely views out of the breakfast area but the breakfast itself was poor value with little choice... From the time we walked in on the Tuesday 18 th August the lady on reception helped us with our booking,we told her we were on our last nite of honeymoon and give us a free breakfast, but was very friendly and very helpful I'm so gutted I can't remember her name, but I sure she will remember us so a big... After a poor experience at the Travelodge in Newquay I vowed never to stay at a Travelodge again. However my mind has been changed. Firstly location is excellent a short 15 min walk and you are in the main shopping area however for relaxing at the hotel the bar and cafe overlook the main Canal with swans, ducks and a... More

There are 2 travelodges in bath and they are similar distance to the city centre and this one happened to have a vacancy on the date of stay. On the night of our stay it was an unusually hot and muggy night of 18c. There was no air conditioning so we had to open the window. Unfortunately it also rained... More

Super location right on the waterside and near the station, but that's about as far as it goes. For a business man travelling and trying to keep expenses as simple as possible the 'stealth charges' really don't work, car parking, breakfast, internet, early check in (£10), late check out... the room was tired, furniture scruffy but the worst by far... I am a regular visitor to this Travelodge and can only say that it fits in with the ethos of Travelodge - you know what to expect. The staff always seem overworked, especially in the evenings when the receptionist is usually the bar staff and chef and taxi booker. Howeve, they always seem happy. The problem now is that a...
