Just returned from 1 night stay in Travelodge waterside in Bath. Excellent value particularly considering it was the day of Bath half marathon and Bath Literature event. Extremely convenient for station - 5 minute walk and pleasant walk along river to Poultney Bridge and City Centre- 10 minutes. Friendly staff and superb view from room

As a business traveller who stays in Premier Inn hotels most of the time, this Travelodge compared fairly when price is taken into account. Premier Inn rooms are, on average, much nicer. However, for £57 including WiFi (and it was very good too), the Travelodge offering at Bath Waterside was considerably cheaper than a lot of Premier Inns are now... More

The Travelodge at Waterside, Bath, is in a great location. It offers parking at £5 for 24 hours (which is very reasonable) and is only about a 5 minute walk into town, making it extremely accessible for retail therapy! The hotel itself is OK - it is a little run down and tired, but the beds were clean and comfortable.... More

Nice hotel, handy for town and 10 mins from the university. Bar and food area very good, this is a re furnished Travelodge and is very good. The car park charges £5 for 24 hours though . Right next to the canal, quiet.

I stay in Travelodge hotels regularly on business trips. Generally I'm happy with value for money and decent simple accommodation. This hotel has a great location but is so tired. Rooms are clean but old, the bathroom very basic, though clean. Restaurant has great view of river but is tired and shabby. Breakfast was haphazard. The coffee machine had almost... More

Adequate, for the price. But for the price, there are better available. Good location, friendly staff, rooms ok but dated. Car parking an extra £5 per day, breakfast ok but not great. Overall, the place just felt tired.

The bathroom isn't heated at all and the room wasn't much better! Great view from room 200 of the river/canal though! The bed was a double although the space between the built-in bedside tables was big enough for a kingsize bed and there wasn't a reading light - you had a spotlight in the ceiling which obviously shone on the... We stayed here for 2 nights. its an easy walk to the main shopping area and Roman Baths. Staff were friendly and the hotel clean and comfy. We had a family room which was very adequate, a few coat hooks would be a nice addition but really nothing else to criticise. There was a bit of road noise with lorries... More

Have stayed here on several occasions. Find it excellent value for money the all you can eat breakfast is OK for the money but we prefer to go out and breakfast now as there are very many good eateries within walking distance. Not had a drink in the bar yet so can't comment on it. Think this day and age... More

My husband and I arrived on the first day of half term and the car park was only half full! We paid £10 for our two days parking, which given the area we thought was very reasonable. We stayed in room 118 which overlooked a lovely little lake that had lots of wildlife in it, very cute ducklings! Our room... More
