Close to town and railway station about 5mins walk. Disappointed we had to pay for parking even tho we were staying there should been free really. Clean hotel and the breakfast was lovely. Stayed a couple of nights

Met expectations in many ways. Perfectly situated for a family get together whether arriving by train or car. Beds clean and comfortable. No toiletries other than a hand wash dispenser, there shower gel dispenser was empty. Reception bright and clean, staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast ok but could do with some fresh fruit and plain yoghurt and quicker turn... More

One of the reasons our trip to Bath was so brilliant was because of the accommodation. We were a little worried as we have stayed in some of the worser Travellodges but we more than happy with our stay at Waterside. Our room was very spacious and clean which was a huge bonus. The bathroom was a little dated but... More

Excellent location. 5 minutes from the trains. 10 minutes from the baths and abbey. Inbetween the river and canal so great for walks. Rooms have had the upgrade and the food is standard Travelodge including evening meals. Staff are friendly and do their best to be helpful although some seemed to have rather limited English. Good if you are on... More

We stayed on Thursday night to attend son's graduation at Bath Abbey. Room was basic and a little tired looking - stained carpet, hole in bathroom door and very dimly lit bathroom. The real issue was the temperature of the room. Lovely, large windows but only opened on one side, a few centimetres, which was totally inadequate. The room was... More

Check in problem Well, firstly we arrived one hour before check in time. They wouldn't let us check in unless we payed 20 euro to check in early!!!! So the room was obviously ready... We thought this was very unreasonable so we said no. We will leave our bags here and come back later. BUT to our astonishment she said... More

A typical Travelodge really, what more can be said? It is in a very nice location though and you can take a nice walk alongside the river into Bath centre. We have stayed here a couple of times and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The restaurant serves unexceptional food, but the prices are reasonable.

The room was clean enough but he bathroom was a little dirty. Someone had left gifts in the toilet and the room smelled a little of rotten eggs (ammonia) although that soon cleared after opening a window. The twin room was comfortable enough, but I'd be tempted to pay a bit more next time.

Stayed here overnight on 21st June while visiting Bath with family - hotel is ideally placed for exploring and you can park your car and walk into city centre - lots of shops and restaurants plus, of course, Roman Baths. Hotel is lovely and clean and beds very comfortable and room spotlessly clean.
