3rd stay at this Hotel in 10 years, something must be right.. Lovely location just outside the tourist centric town, it's a bit of a walk into town but it's very scenic taking you past the Royal Crescent and though beautiful Victoria Park Hotel itself is stunning, an early 19th Century Grand Private residence We had a lovely room overlooking... We stayed for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. The building is stunning upon arrival but the real gem is the garden. We had asked for a room overlooking the garden and were given one on the basement that barely saw the garden (Lavender). The room had a wonderful bathroom but we wanted to wake up to more sunlight... Having just reviewed a functional hotel used for business, time to go to the opposite end of the spectrum with the luxury abode which is the The Bath Priory I will just throw a few adjectives out first: gorgeous, sumptuous, classic, traditional and upmarket. Add to that the great staff who know what their clientele expect at this price point... More

We stayed one night and enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu with wine flight. We knew this was going to be a superb venue but were overwhelmed with just how good it was. Upon arrival, one of the reception staff gave us a brief tour of the building before showing us to our room - a huge double with fine... More

The reception staff were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. The room (Lilac) was delightful with lovely views over the garden and countryside beyond, the bed was large and comfortable . The bar is very "old country house" and the better for that. I have seen comments that the furniture is old fashioned, true and very comfortable! The restaurant is a pleasant... More

Stayed 2 nights Fri/Sat for our anniversary. Staff friendly and welcoming. Upgraded to junior suite overlooking rear gardens. Food excellent. 20 min walk to Bath centre through a park. Ate in 'The Pantry' and service was outstanding. Thoroughly recommend and look forward to another stay there.

We came here for 2 nights to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. What a treat! We were blown away by the room, (Heather) which we had been upgraded to overlooking the gorgeous gardens with a balcony. The service was impeccable throughout our stay. The food was justifiably Michelin starred. Each morsel was delicious. The best food we've ever tasted.... More

We spent a long weekend at the Priory. When considered going back to Bath, we thought of the excellent visit we had to Priory more than 20 years ago and decided to return to fresh up old memories. We never regretted going back. It was as good as the - if not better. The spa and the two swimming pools... More

We were invited to dinner to celebrate a 50th Birthday. We all had the tasting menu which was very good but it was let down by the service. Don't get me wrong the staff were all very friendly and pleasant but they lacked enthusiasm when serving the food. The waiters all seemed very young and a little disinterested. Two of... More

Six of us went for a lunch to celebrate the birthday of one of the group. Initial impressions were good: as the weather was wonderful it was nice to enjoy a pre lunch drink in the delightful garden. It took a while to serve our drinks, and even longer to take our food order. When we were invited inside, we... More

Dear Sir, We are obviously very sorry to learn that your recent lunch was marred by slow service throughout. What is even more disappointing is that having constructively brought this issue to the attention of our team, your integrity was then questioned. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to discuss your lunch experience with you, and hope you might... More
