We just stayed at the Bath Priory with our two teenagers as part of our summer vacation. The staff is incredibly attentive and helpful. The rooms are large, as are the bathrooms ( at least by European standards). The hotel is a bit of a walk from the city center, but it is downhill through a very nice park on... More

Visited for lunch my Birthday. Oh it was divine. Spent most of the day there. Lunch as usual (been before) is superb, and during the week amazing value! Cocktails on the terrace first, and after lunch, coffee in the beautifully appointed lounge, then spending time in the (NGS) gardens/grounds afterwards. The Kitchen Garden is an inspiration. Staff service is charming... More

My husband and I had two days to tour around Southwestern England after a wedding in Winchester and chose to visit Bath. We stayed at the Bath Priory Hotel and it was simply wonderful in every way. I had stayed there thirty years ago and it was very nice then but things have clearly been taken up a notch. The... More

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary in July 2014. Almost every aspect of our stay was perfect. The room was lovely with comfortable sofas and an amazingly comfortable bed. We stayed on a very hot and sunny weekend and the lack of air-con was noticeable, but the peaceful setting meant we could throw the windows... More

Stayed here for 1 night to sample the restaurant and treat ourselves. Lovely building and gardens, had lunch on the terrace. Bees on the lavender and even the sound of the lawn mower made it idilic. Lunch (caesar salad) was a little disappointing too little lettuce! Hubbies meal was great. Walked into Bath, 20 min walk through the park, close... More

Lovely room (Widecombe) in a charming old hotel. Set in beautiful grounds. We ate in the main restaurant and it was good but not, in our view, of Michelin standard, but this did not detract from our enjoyment; the service was again good but not in or view top class. Breakfast was very good. Checking in was a bit frantic... More

We were so impressed with this hotel. Incredible property and grounds. You feel like you are Lord of the Manor in 1920 England but with all the modern day comforts. An easy walk thru the park to the centre of Bath but a private oasis once in the Hotel grounds. Superb friendly staff who can not do enough to help.... More

From the moment we arrived (Two hours early for check in) we felt well looked after. They got our room cleaned early And helped us know where to find the places we wanted to see. Cannot fault cleanliness or anything else for that matter. Complete gem which we will come back to when next in bath. Thanks for a fantastic... More

This was our 3rd stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff are special...being so thoughtful and helpful...from the boy at the door to the lady gardener! The rooms are of a reasonable size...although some might wish for a greater size , even in the de luxe rooms. The bar is most pleasant ( I love the Edwardian paintings). The restaurant... More
