LOCATION: Close to town, 10/15mins walk down hill which will take you to the train station end of town. Obviously this means an up hill walk possibly with shopping. Fortunately there is a bus stop near by. Should you be driving and need fuel one minute away from a petrol station. CAR PARK: Not a bad size but, there are... more

Comfortable but slightly grubby and everything looked a little neglected from the garden to the information leaflets a year out of date. The main problem was breakfast - we stayed two nights, and each morning had to wait 25 minutes before we were even brought milk to have cereal. The orders were wrong, substitutions were made without asking (more toast... more

All the recommendations mention a Judith who wasn't there when we were. Perhaps changed hands? Kind of worn, musty. Wouldn't return. more

This was a lovely B&B and I would recommend anyone who needs a bed in Bath. I travelled with my family and the three of us all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our check in time was flexible and our host even helped us find our way. The room was large enough for us to feel relaxed with even a lounge... more

We stayed here for the weekend and could not fault it. Excellent value for money. Free parking and only a short walk into the city centre. There is a bus stop outside if you don't want to walk. Friendly staff and the breakfast was nice with a good choice of options. We would return here when visiting Bath in future.... more

Room was very clean, as were all the fittings. Unfortunately at the time of the stay, there were workmen doing building work, so you could hear them unfortunately if you wanted to sleep in. Cleaning lady came into my room without knocking once, unfortunately. Wireless broadband is very good. Has a very nice sitting room with a great view, and... more

We had a lovely stay here and the breakfast is excellent. Really friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, great location, although you will have to walk up a hill heading home, but that isn’t a chore when walking off a huge dinner! Highways House itself was very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay there again. more

Highways House hotel was fantastic. We stayed in the room which overlooks the front of the hotel - it was a huge room with an equally huge bathroom! Although the hotel was on a busy road the double glazing cut out all potential noise. Breakfast was lovely and at staggered times, so you were not waiting long for your food... more

We stayed a few days at the Highways House. Highways House is a little out of downtown Bath, but is an easy bus ride or a 10 minute walk uphill. Our room faced the back garden, and was quiet, and it had a tub. Judith was fantastic. She has a great personality and was able to orient us to good... more
