introduction was ok as we were in fact quite late due to traffic. Room big if a little dated and I cant handle soft mattresses and this was v soft. Power shower excellent. Apparently there's a garden but couldn't see it or see if was actually a sizable one. Location is best point as it take 10 mins to walk... More

I have read both good and bad reviews of Highways House, and I took a chance. I wasn't dissappointed. The House is located on a hill overlooking the city, an easy walk down to the town, very steep back up though! We walked up the hill to a great pub for dinner, best food in England! Also made a trip... More

Just returned from a 2 day stay in Highways House and all I can say to anyone considering it is just don't bother! We were originally offered a family room for £80 which we took, but on arriving there we were shown to what looked like an outhouse. The bathroom was not one which I wanted to use ... the... More

great location! only a short walk up the hill, or run if your feeling fit and parking on the grounds so no need to pay for parking! lovely little place, the room we stayed in was upstairs along a narrow corridor with a very odd lampshade, considering my partner and i are tall, not so good. the room was clean... Our room was very spacious and clean, with adequate furnishings and a comfortable bed. Although a little out of central Bath, it was only a 20 min walk. Staff were extremely helpful to us.

Not very impressed with this property at all. The only positive we have is that the lady who was there @ checkin was brillant. Internet is only accessible from the lounge in the main house. On one occassion whilst in the main house we could hear the owner having a screaming match with some1 in the basement which was rather... More

We were completely taken by the look and feel of this quaint accommodation especially after the hustle and bustle of touring london :). Extremely pretty with flowers in full bloom and quiet and peaceful. We booked a Superior Double room and it was very spacious, clean and same goes for the bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Location is a bit... More

We required a room in Bath for 2 nights that would sleep three adults. Also we required a place with parking and within walking distance from the centre of Bath. All these requirments were met with Highways House. However, there were a number of problems with the booking process. Althrough I had confirmed the booking 2 weeks earlier, they did... More

We are appalled that the manager falsely stated in his response to MSMITH's review that their neighbors were embarassed by their complaining. We are those neighbors and our only contact with the manager was when he asked how we wanted our eggs cooked and when he helped us with luggage to circumvent his vehicle, which was blocking the driveway. Putting... More

Perfect location, just a short walk to the centre of Bath (uphill on the way home, but that's basically the case wherever you stay in Bath). We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable and spacious, also clean. The heating system was great, particularly useful with washing and drying clothes. Breakfast was filling and tasty, as well... More
