Elegant stylish imecable house and service. Still enjoyed our three night stay in spite of very poor weather. Susan and staff will attend to you in a professional and attentive matter. Would certainly recommend this top class B&b and will return

My teenage daughter and myself stayed at Tasburgh House for one night (I wish it could have been longer, but we had only booked the one night). Any outstanding reviews I have previously read regarding this hotel/guest house have been absolutely spot on. Beautiful hotel, elegantly furnished and presented rooms (I liked that each room was given the title of... More

We booked the Hardy Room on the ground floor for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary weekend and after a warm welcome by Sue, the owner of the Tasburgh, and her staff, we were shown to our room where the bed was covered in rose petals with a card wishing us a happy anniversary. The room has an amazing view over Bath... More

What can I add to the glowing reports on tripadvisor - I have been thinking about this ever since we returned from our visit last month. The room, Austen, was delightful, the 'service' was excellent and unobtrusive, but there was always someone to help if you needed it. It was like living in a lovely country house where the utmost... Our group had an incredible time at Tasburgh house. Grant is an exceptional host and looked after us the entire trip. The views are by far the best in Bath, the rooms are lovely, and the continental breakfast so much more (including incredible local cheese and meat). The location is tranquil and quiet, yet so close to Bath city centre,... More

I stayed here for two nights and found Tasburgh House to be lovely. Agreed with the other reviews that service is fantastic- very professional and nothing is too much trouble. I stayed in a room with amazing views over gardens, it was tranquil to be able sit at the window looking out over the beautiful scenery. I did find the... More

I enjoyed the location of Tasburgh House. It is a short walk into Bath; you can wander to the end of the garden & wander along the canal into town which is a lovely, quiet walk. The room was very comfortable - good quality bed linen and a very comfy bed. The bathroom was cluttered. I understand that they are... More

We had a really lovely stay here. The hotel is a short distance outside Bath with a lovely view over part of the City and the rolling hills. It is easily walkable and not too expensive to catch a taxi in and out of the City. The grounds are beautiful and we were sorry not to get more time to... More

A very plesant stay. The house, the garden and not at least the warm and excellent service make a very relaxed stay. The distance to the town is a lovely walk along the channel and the ideal start to visit Bath. The family room (2+1 beds) was smal and under the roof, but it is nice, works for three and... More

The Tasburgh House is located just outside the centre of Bath but it is easy to find by car (parking available), or taxi, or there is a tow path along the canal that you can walk that will take about 20 minutes to the train station. Don't be swayed because it is not in the centre of town, it is... More
