I recently celebrated my birthday and was taken away on a surprise weekend in Bath by my girlfriend, Jenny. I've never stayed in five star accommodation before and everything about Tasburgh House is exactly that - five star. From the writer themed rooms (we stayed in the Wordsworth room), to the amazing service provided by Sue & Grant all weekend:... More

A friend who lives near Bath recommended Tasburgh House and it fully lived up to her description: premium comfort and service. Conveniently, we could walk into the centre of Bath along the Kennet and Avon canal towpath, which can be reached through the House garden. We stayed for 3 nights using the '3 for 2' special deal, which made our... More

A nice and smaller hotel with a beautiful garden. Splendid service and very personal. We can highly recommend Tasburgh House and the city of Bath. Short walk from hotel to city center. Lovely start of the day, with Tasburgh House serving remarkable breakfast. Enjoy(!), we certainly did!

This was my first trip away from home for a few years and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying at Tasburgh House. The hotel is in a good location with easy access to the centre of Bath. Sue and her team were very welcoming and helpful. I was in the Dickens room and was greeted by a welcoming letter... More

My two sisters and I chose this delightful hotel after reading the reviews on trip advisor and viewing photographs of house and gardens. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to stay for our 2day break to explore Bath and go to the Bath forum for a Rufus Wainwright concert. Susan and her staff were so friendly, helpful and interested... More

We highly recommend the delightful Tasburgh House. Superb tranquil setting with wonderfully attentive staff. Do try the homemade delicious granola and the yummy Tasburgh honey, the cooked breakfasts are scrumptious too. We certainly plan to book again.

The Tasburgh House was our first stop in a ten day exploration of England. It was our favorite for three reasons: Service, Beauty, Comfort. Our room, The Dylan Thomas, transported us into a story book home with a lovely bed, bathroom (the shower is delightfully strong and welcomed after days of travel), manicured (cultivated yet natural) acreage to the canal... We couldn't have been happier with this last minute booking. As soon as we arrived we fell in love with the picturesque hotel and welcoming staff. Our room (number 10) was located on the top floor and gave us a spectacular view. Breakfast was more than substantial, with toast and warm croissants brought to the table. We sat in the... More

I booked Tasburgh House for my mother and father, specifically for my mother's eightieth birthday surprise. Susan Keeling could not have been more helpful. Customer service at it's best. She took a real interest in making the whole stay exactly how they wanted it to be, happily liasing with me to arrange restaurants and taxis etc before they even got... More

Have stayed at this hotel many times and would honestly not think of booking anywhere else in Bath. We really enjoy our time at the Tasburgh Hotel. Sue is extremely welcoming and always so happy to help and wants to make sure you get the most out of your stay in Bath - her recommendations are always spot on. This... More
