We spent 5 nights at this wonderful B&B. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the breakfasts were OUTSTANDING! Hosts were gracious and full of information if you asked. Only draw back is the walk uphill after a day or evening in Bath. But a cab ride is cheap if you're not into the walk. Then you can relax... More

Stayed 2 nights at the end of July. Josephine picked us up from the train station as planned. First impressions of the house and room were wow - nice old Georgian Villa - great well kept grounds with space out the back for lounging in the sun. Room was well presented clean and spacious. Continental and cooked breakfasts first class... More

We stayed 4 nights in this lovely guest house. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Josephine welcomed us warmly, even providing a bowl of water and rags when my husband needed to repair a punctured bike wheel. We really appreciated the fan in our room as it was such hot weather. The breakfasts were superb and the ladies who... More

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious! Property had such pretty gardens. Walking distance to historic center of Bath. Josephine the owner was very helpful with advice and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

This was an excellent choice for us to stay for 2 nights. Our host even went to the trouble of vacating the garage to enable us to park there as we were arriving late. Josephine made us feel very welcome and happily accommodated all of our requests. The room (Beckford) was huge with plenty of seating and storage choices and... More

Stayed for one night on the 19th of May. We had two rooms, both very comfortable. Hosts very friendly and happy to help with any request including early breakfast as we left early in the morning. Can walk into town or bus stop not too far away. Breakfast was very good, a pleasant place to stay and visit Bath.

We visited Athole Guest House in June this year. Josephine was the best host you could wish for - she welcomed us as if we were old friends. Breakfast was delicious, actually the best we had in our trip to England. Homemade bread of different sorts, different sorts of cheese, homemade yoghurt and lovely blueberry pancakes. The room is nice,... More
