Situated on the main road into Bath - 30 minutes outside of the City. This hotel is situated in nice grounds. Breakfast menu offered a good choice, but sadly our meal was a liitle overcooked to enjoy. Furnishings throughout good but bedroom needed a good clean, especially as we found litter from a previous guest still in the room.

Dear Guest, Please accept my apology for our shortcomings on your recent visit. I do hope you returned your breakfast and in return received one which wasn't overcooked, that was sloppy service by us and should not happen. I check our rooms on a daily basis and am dismayed that yours was not to the high standard that we demand.... More

The location was great for getting into Bath, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was first class and the staff were faultless. Our only comment is that it would have been nice to have had a licensed bar. We would recommend to others though!

Thank you for your kind comments, it is much appreciated and has been passed onto our staff, who were delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We are fully licenced but because we consider our hotel to be a haven of peace and tranquility for our guests, we offer our bar facilities to 10pm every day. We stock a full range... More

This beautiful hotel is situated just outside the Bath city center. Just minutes away from the Roman Baths and Thermae Spa's. Sally Lunn's is also one of the places you should be, for her famous buns. Bailbrook Lodge were we stayed has some fine people working there. The greatest hospitality and also a great English Breakfast prepared as you personally... More

We had a lovely weekend staying at the Bailbrook Lodge, the staff were very accommodating and couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed and to help with any queries. The rooms were adequet and we appreciated the complimentary water each day. Breakfast was lovely, local resturants/pubs recommended and we had fabulous meals. Thank you to everyone who... More

Our three day stay at this wonderful B&B was an excellent find. Our room was very quiet, despite being on the front of the building. The long gardens outside meant that traffic noise was almost non-existent. Our double room was more than adequate, and the en-suite, with its slipper bath, was very novel. One point for the 'mature' visitor -... More

Bailbrook Lodge is set in beautiful grounds, with stunning views of the hills around Bath. The rooms are cosy and very comfortable, and we were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. If I ever find myself starving on a desert island, the memory of the breakfasts will sustain me for a month. We enjoyed ourselves so... More

Bailbrook Lodge is a charming house in a quiet location with beautiful surroundings and very comfortable bedrooms. Daniel and his staff looked after us so well - restaurants were recommended and booked on our behalf, taxis arranged, helpful advice offered on maximising the best use of our time in the city. In fact everything was done to ensure our comfort... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a shopping and sightseeing treat. The location is handy for Bath and has good parking which is good as you need a car to get to the city. On arrival, the place looks impressive, but our stay was spoilt, as we had a room that was very small it made us feel claustrophobic.... More

As Bailbrook Lodge is a Georgian Grade II listed building and all of the rooms are the original ones and come in different sizes and with different rates. Of the 15 rooms 5 are very large with four poster beds and with walk in wet room style shower. The remaining 10 are of varying size with 4 of them having... More

We are at a loss to understand these very brief but unfavourable comments following the reviewer’s stay with us as the details are not specific. We note that the reviewer has given an on line code name of Rhode Island and, therefore, we assume that he/she is American. We have had no American guests staying with us in April apart... More
