Disappointing Stay in this shabby 4* Lodge'' Over Priced for what you get! and should not be rated a 4* more 2/3! Pokey Small rooms that are un-clean' shabby, and not that comfy! Horrid Bed'.. there's definitely nothing romantic about this Placel! unless you like champagne for breakfast'' The Best Thing About This B&B Is The Location And The Breakfast... More

Dear Guest I am sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay with us. All our mattresses have been supplied by a national company which specialize is supplying hotels and guest houses. They claim to have researched what constitutes a perfect night’s sleep and produced a mattress accordingly. We all know that we have individual preferences for either hard or soft mattresses.... We arrived at Bailbrook Lodge to find a beautiful Georgian building. It was easy to find, in a very good location for exploring Bath, had free parking and nice grounds. We were greeted by Michael and shown around the hotel and then up to our room. We had been upgraded to a four poster room which at first looked great,... More

I was very disappointed to read this review. Our rooms are dusted daily. On this occasion the room had not been let the night before and we hadn’t dusted before the guest arrived. I apologise and there is no excuse for not having dusted and checked before showing the guest to the room. It is our policy to upgrade guests... More

We booked from New Years Eve for 2 nights and on first impression looked very old and quaint, on arrival we were met by Daniel in the reception area who showed us around the hotel and explained everything to us what we needed to know and made sure we had all our questions answered. The room me and my partner... More

Fabulous hotel with lovely ambience. Daniel the Manager was second to none and was so helpful and approachable and nothing too much trouble. All staff were a great help and really friendly. Daniel arranged a taxi for us on New Year's Eve to go into the City and to return after mid-night. The lounge area is tranquil and the dining... More

I booked a 2 night stay at the Bailbrook Lodge for myself and my partner as part of his Christmas present. Having been to Bath on four other occasions, and stayed in a number of small B&B's my experiences had always been very positive, however this was certainly not one of them. The website is very misleading and upon arrival... More

I am sorry you were disappointed with the bedroom. There is no excuse for not vacuuming under the bed. We could not find the socks you mentioned in the bathroom. I did apologise for our shortcomings and explained that we had allocated a four poster room to you for your second night stay. You declined the offer and requested to... More

Excellent small hotel. Staff (especially Daniel) couldn't do enough for you. Room comfortable even if the bed was on small side. Breakfast was wonderful. Good value for money. Location was fine for short taxi ride into Bath. Happy to recommend. More

What makes this hotel stand out is its top customer service, which together with the small size and individual style of the hotel make a stay there a very personal experience. The manager, Daniel, really went the extra mile, showing us round the hotel, making restaurant bookings (both his recommendations excellent) and even giving us a lift into the city... More

On arrival we were greeted by Manager, Daniel who showed us around and took us to our room. He was very helpful throughout our stay and helped us with transport into town on the incredibly busy first Christmas market weekend and organised a table at a local and really good restaurant. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and helpful our... More
