After a traumatic experience in a car accident on the M5, the car was taken away so my daughter and I were faced with a long train journey from Worcester to Bath Spa while we had already travelled from Manchester. My husband telephoned the lodge to inform them of our situation and after 12 hours of travelling we arrived to... More

As one of the owners of Bailbrook Lodge I would like to respond to this review. I am very sorry that we appeared unsympathetic to this guest's harrowing journey but unfortunately the duty manager who took the call regarding the delay of these guests was detained with another guest on their arrival and they were booked in by a new... A super hotel, very relaxing and comfortable. Extremely friendly staff willing to help and give advice about things to do and see and a beautiful room with a great view and the most enormous and comfortable bed we have ever slept in, this meant that I even managed to sleep (snoring husband) due to him being so far away! A... More

My partner and I stayed here late July 2014 and were impressed! Our 4 poster room was stunning, with all the amenities we needed and was very comfortable. The hotel manager (I presume) was a lovely friendly lady, who clearly took pride in her work and the hotel. Breakfast was good and cooked well. And the garden/grounds were very peaceful... More

I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us last month and that you particularly found the four poster room “stunning”. We have two “lovely, friendly ladies” who are our management team – Justine and Jacqui – so the person who would have looked after you would have been one of them. We are especially pleased that you appreciate... More

Nothing was to much troble. If only all B&B could be like this. Oh yes. Right on bus route to city center. 10mins A really good weekend break

Generally speaking it was a correct stay at this lodge but we have to remark some problems occurred in our two days in Bath: i) Very small rooms and no possibility of getting individual beds, ii) The lavatory permanently stucked, iii) No shower but a medium bathtub in which hosts are reminded to be aware of spilling water in the... We booked Bailbrook Lodge as a stop over on the way to the South West ( Cornwall). A good sized room on the ground floor with a high standard of décor and facilities. The staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful and breakfast the following morning was excellent. We spent an evening in Bath which is convenient for... More

We stayed here for our anniversary and was booked into the four poster room, beautiful. Made to feel very welcome, friendly and helpful staff. The only let down was that fact they didn't have a proper bar but was walking distance from a lovely pub right on the river. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again and recommend

We are delighted that you celebrated your anniversary in one of lovely four poster bedrooms and that you found our staff welcoming and friendly. Although we do not have a “proper bar” the lounge area overlooking the garden where our small bar is located does provide a relaxing and cosy environment. Thank you for recommending us to others and we... More

We were only able to get a room with an en-suite shower. The room was a bit small, but it had what we needed for the four days we have just spent there. The bed was very comfortable and very little noise from inside or outside. Bailbrook is just on the edge of the city so you have to drive... More

We booked Bailbrook Lodge as we wanted something different to your bog standard Premier Inn. We had a four poster bedroom which overlooked the garden, well worth paying that little extra. Even though we were near the road and slept with the window wide open we heard nothing. Due to the age of the property the sink is separate from... More
