The staff here are excellent. We took their weekend special and got a great welcome about the hotel and the area from Philip the manager on duty. The room was great. The hotel is quiet. We got a free bottle of Champagne. The room had coffee and tea etc. We went into bath for the offer of 'main course free'... More

Spent one night here and had a wonderful time from the minute we walked through the door to a warm welcome. Champagne on arrival and chocolates on the pilows.we had a smallish double room which was big enough and we had a great slipper bath. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the garden was a lovely haven.will stay... More

We stayed for 2 nights, had a lovely old fashioned room with 4 poster bed. Loved the little wet room (despite regularly leaving with wet shorts), thought the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was really nice, plenty of choice for those that want it, equally nice for smaller appetites. Little disappointed there was no real bar to speak of but... More

A nice boutique Hotel just off a main road, ideally close to Bath city. Totally spoiled by polite attentive hotel staff. Hotel does a really nice breakfast (champagne at breakfast on our Wowcher offer and a bottle on arrival). No evening dinner option but sister Hotel The Royal, right by the railway station really nice part of our Wowcher deal,... More

...Not like the pictures, feel very overpriced for what you get it and very disappointed as the price and 4star suggests a lot more then what you get. Stayed in a very dirty room, with pubes on the ceiling whould suggest a can of Mr Sheen and a duster. The breakfast was also dated, the fruit bowl was old and... More

We visited using a great value deal from Wowcher. From my first contact with the hotel to try and book in the staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating in trying to find me a date; they had obviously been inundated with bookings, which isn't surprising! We arrived to be greeted with a warm welcome, shown around the hotel and... More

This was booked by my partner, as a treat for me.The building is old so no lifts. Our double was very small. Did not like having the sink actually in the bedroom room, although I understand that the bathroom was so tiny that there was no room to put it actually in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay, breakfast staff pleasant.... More

I am replying to your review as one of the owners of Bailbrook Lodge. I was disappointed to read your comments and would like to deal with the issues raised. It is a fact that we do not have any lifts but the building only has two floors and we do offer help with taking luggage to the bedrooms. Because... More

We stayed in this charming guesthouse for three nights as our daughter and son in law had just celebrated the birth of their first son. It was convenient for driving to the hospital and very close to their home. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends when visiting Bath. We were pleased to have booked a spacious airy... Stayed here for the easter holiday - had a great time. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. Chocolate eggs on the pillows was a nice touch! (Presume it was for easter) Though the highlight was the breakfast. I was expecting a buffet style breakfast, as you get in most... More
