We stayed here for one night at the end of our Cotswold Way Walk. The hotel is clean with all the facilities you need, There is a brasserie-style restaurant that serves Modern British dishes, and there's a cocktail bar and a terrace cafe but these are a tad over priced. The breakfast was very good along with super service. Our... More

This large motel was right in the centre of Bath, around the corner from the Cathedral and the Roman Baths, and across the road from the Esplanade. The rooms were lovely - a few steps to get to ours, but nothing too steep. Restaurant was lovely, and the large comfy chairs outside for the bar were perfect for a lovely... More

Stayed here for our 1st anniversary in a superior room, disappointed with the room on arrival very small, but after reading other reviews and looking at photos i think some of the other rooms were smaller. Rooms were lovely but the bathroom was very dated and old, defiantly needs a make over but the bar downstairs was stunning with amazing... More

We were staying in the Abbey Hotel for one night. It is located just around the corner from the Roman Baths, Bath cathedral, and Pulteney Bridge. It doesn't have parking but there is a big parking lot around the corner on Manvers Street. The room was not big but not tiny either, and it was very tastefully decorated. The bed... More

Excellent placed hotel , Everything with in walking distance including a car park to park your car !! This hotel ticks all the boxes and reasonable prices for bath . Never ate in the restaurant there but believe it to be excellent and if I was to go by the breakfast I would vouch for that , no cheap sausage... More

Really nice hotel, room was great, bed was very comfy and the breakfast was amazing! Only one little thing, if your going in summer, the seaguls may wake you up if you have your windows open. We were up at 4:30am by the sound of very loud seaguls. Perhaps some air conditioning would be worth installing In the rooms? Other... More

Great location , great restaurant, great staff and a spacious family room with AC ( Ann Hobbs ) ... the only lowlight was the bathroom in our room , while clean and spacious it was hopelessly outdated and not what we expected for an expensive hotel in the centre of Bath. Having said that there is a bathroom refurbishment in... More

Our last day of The Cotswold Way, and what a delightful surprise to spend the last night in this beautiful hotel. A really lovely outdoor drinks area/garden bar greets you on arrival, and then walk into reception - professional, warm and welcoming staff. Our room was very comfortable, beautiful modern decor, great buffet breakfast and wonderful location - a few... More

Stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful city, but this hotel was an expensive disappointment. The room was small, with a cramped bathroom. Ate an expensive breakfast once, and didn't try the restaurant for other meals though the menu looked interesting. There is a fantastic Moroccan restaurant right next door which lured us away. The weather was hot (yes, it... More

Dear 54 Ann Many thanks for your review, I can see that you had two rooms with us one large and one smaller, each has its own merits and we do advise guests on the most suitable room types when they book direct. As you say heat in the UK is unusual and whilst some rooms do have air conditioning... More

A great hotel for a short city break. Perfect location, beautiful rooms and without exception, great service from every member of staff, from reception to the restaurant to the bar. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in (probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in in the UK). Amazing value too. A lovely place to be. Definitely plan... More
