Very comfortable stay in Abbey Hotel, which was in an excellent position for exploring Bath. We were even lucky enough to get our car parked right outside hotel as it was Sunday, so this was a bonus. Had a lovely meal in the quaint restaurant Sally Lunn's just short way up the lane from hotel. Most enjoyable breakfast in hotel... More

The staff simply needs a lesson in manners, not just in customers but to each other.

Great location. Perhaps a little tired but what can you expect in an old building. However, very clean. Staff were polite and helpful but gave us bad advice on not needing to book a restaurant. Wifi was hopeless, even in the lounge. We ate one night in the hotel restaurant and except for the fact the chef used far too... More

We visited bath for the day and found this brasserie, just around the corner from the abbey... Great location, friendly service by the waitress hanna and the food is top quality...very innovative, pea pots, Asian noodles, pork belly.... Great place for a light lunch. Also noticed the new brasserie in currently under renovation.... Can't wait to come back for more... More

The Best Western Abbey was an excellent choice for easy access to the local attractions and restaurants. I had requested in my reservations a room towards the back and it was granted. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very nice bathroom. Free Internet worked better in our room than the hotel lobby; although they have a computer for guest use... More

I had a lovely triple room all to myself. They had made a nice effort to provide a vegetarian cooked breakfast (with quorn sausage, halloumi, mushrooms, etc.). The location was fantastic, room was quiet. The only minor niggles were the lack of a car park and the shower was not that warm even at top temperature.

£200 to stay in a dark and dismal room squirrelled away in the rear of the hotel and accessed by walking straight through the middle of the restaurant. Very poor value for money. Breakfast was pretty dismal too, poached eggs were served along with half the water they had been poached in, so the plate was simming in water, bacon... More

My teenage daughter and I spent two nights here. Positive comments are that our twin room was lovely, clean, view of the abbey and river and not too hot. Location is fantastic, we walked everywhere and close to all shops, restaurants and the roman baths. The negative points were that the staff were not particularly interested in the guests, no... Smashing hotel, convenient for all the sights, shops, bars, restaurants and station. The room was clean with a very effective shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal place to stay for looking around Bath without the hassle of the car. Two tips, when booking asking for a quiet room at the back of the hotel if you are... More
