Very fine regency hotel in the heart of Bath in Queen's Square with very distinctive rooms. Recently renovated with Raymond Blanc restaurant, ideal for central Bath. Only down side is £15/night car parking and £19/person breakfast. Good news is there's lots of very good cafe's & restaurants nearby!

We stayed for two nights in a feature room and enjoyed our stay. No complaints apart from the £15 per night parking charge and the breakfast chaos. 2 attempts at scrambled egg on white toast failed abysmally as our waitress could not get to grips with a pen and paper. Would stay again but have breakfast somewhere else !

Four of us went here for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday and would not go again. No one came to take our order, we had to ask in another room and when our tea came we were not given milk or sugar, despite asking twice, and were forced to minesweep from other uncleared tables. The food itself took far... More

Everything a luxury hotel should be. We stayed in one of the feature rooms which had a "four poster" bed (very big, lovely and comfortable but although there were posts at each corner of the bed there was no canopy so not sure it was really a 4-poster). The fluffy towels were probably the softest I have ever had in... More

We stayed for 2 nights in August in a tiny, (but not the smallest) room on the floor despite the high price. It's a nice looking hotel in a superb location but they've crammed so much in to it that even the reception is a temporary looking lean-to next to the lift and there are too many rooms - hence... My husband and I had a fantastic two night stay in Bath at this hotel. It has been recently remodeled and is decorated to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable. There is a small refrigerator in the room, which was a nice touch. It's nice to be able to keep drinks cool. The hotel is located directly across... More

We had a wonderful stay in August. We had the nicely decorated spacious room 113 with a great bed and large bathroom. Only downside was no tub. Our room overlooked a park and was quiet. The lobby area was spacious with a nice bar area and comfortable seating. The staff were very nice and courteous. The location was great. We... More

A beautiful hotel. Very grand and regal. Classic period decor. Very friendly and helpful staff- cocktail waiters good sense of humour. Great cocktails. Quite a central location so easy access to shops and sights. Pick up a bus-tour from the square. Great rooms and very spacious suites. A treat to have a great restaurant attached! Definitely stay again. Parents first... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here in July 2014, and were very happy with the hotel. We opted for the inclusive modern day spa package, and were really glad we did - it was superb. When we checked in, we spoke to the staff, who said that even if we hadn't opted for the package, that they would have urged... More

Stayed at the hotel to celebrate my first wedding anniversary and loved everything about the place. Staff were very helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The room was beautiful, location amazing and cocktails in the lounge were yummy. Hotel was exactly what we wanted and I would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!
