Myself and my partner stayed here back in April last year. We loved every second. Worth every penny and we the perfect getaway. We can't wait to book again this year for another peaceful getaway from our busy lifestyles.

My husband and I stayed in Hare cottage for 4 nights and we had a lovely break. We arrived around 7pm and the cottage was warm, nicely lit and had some tasty biscuits and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The barn is beautiful and well kitted out with everything we needed for cooking evening meals and relaxing on... More

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely relaxing stay in Owl cottage - just what was needed ! From the moment we walked through the door it felt like home and an added lovely gesture of the table set up for afternoon tea with cake and a bottle of wine for us also to enjoy. The views... More

George and Helen have wonderful cottages that are so well equipped and are immaculate. I have stayed in Badger and Owl and they are superb. You have your own patio area for a summer BBQ, there is a kitchen/ lounge and a wonderful whirlpool bath. The views are spectacular, we watched the balloons from the balloon fiesta glide across the... More

We stayed in Hare barn for a week while helping our son and daughter-in-law and friends move house in Bristol. We couldn't have asked for a better sanctuary to return to in evenings after tough physical days. The barn is perfectly situated for Bath and Bristol in wonderful countryside with amazing views and lovely walks from the doorstep (shame about... More

We spent 3 nights in hare cottage it was snug, great facilities and just what we wanted. Great views and great location to Bath and Bristol. It was very clean and a nice touch with the Christmas tree and lights. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here in mid June, having stayed the same week back in 2005, not long after they opened. We had Owl Cottage again, which is perfect for 2. We didn't find the lack of washing machine an issue, unlike other reviewers. Internet would have been helpful, but we managed with 3G. The kitchen area is well equipped, and the... More

I found Owl Cottage at Coombe Barn as a last minute getaway for a four night stay. George, the owner, gave good directions and I had no problem finding it. There is parking right in front of the cottage which is halfway up a hill and offers great views across to Bristol and the Black Mountains of Wales in the... More

I love coming to coombe barn!! The views are amazing! The chalets are clean, comfortable and provide a great place to get to bath, Bristol or the country side. The service is very friendly and family run. I can not recommend highly enough.

We stayed in 'Badger Cottage', which is one of three similar cottages set behind a farmhouse in North Somerset. The cottages are perfect for two people and Badger could also accommodate a child in a Z-bed. The accommodation was brilliant, very well done converted farm buildings all on one level. We had a kitchen/lounge, a bathroom with a jaccuzi bath... More
