A great top end B & B with brilliant hosts, wonderful breakfast and worth the slight premium. Easy walking into Bath and the right side of town for access to Prior Park and great steak restaurant (The Hurd). Definitely our short term residence for trips to Bath. Lovely courtyard garden too for guests.

Location couldn't be better with free parking, hotel is of a high standard with lots of character and a very warm welcome from the staff. Plus a superb breakfast. Couldn't ask for more. We will definitely be back.

The B&B is just 5 minutes walking to the old city centre. Excellent breakfast with plenty of fresh products. We stayed in a superior room that was clean and spacious. Free parking and free Wifi. Do not forget to ask for a free reward card! Reccomended.

The Kennard is a gem of a hotel. It is really well-situated, just a short stroll to the Pulteney Bridge and into the center of Bath, but in a quiet residential area. Natalie and Guy are so friendly and welcoming and eager to make every part of the stay easy and comfortable. We stayed in Room 7, which is on... More

The Kennard is a real find! Natalie, Guy and the team are welcoming and keen to provide every assistance. I had a lovely one night stay in a twin room on the second floor (which overlooks the beautiful garden). The room was pristine and the beds are comfortable: we both commented on how well we slept. The tea and coffee... More

The greatest assets of The Kennard are its location and its hosts. Bath is a compact city and The Kennard is perfectly situated close to its centre to explore the entire city by foot. And Natalie and Guy are wonderful hosts (ably assisted by Agnes). Natalie's bubbling personality is omnipresent and she is constant flow of help, advice and energy.... More

We stayed in the red room: it has a very nice and elegant decor and the bed is very comfortable. The room is tiny, and the sink is in the bedroom, while the rest of the bathroom is ensuite. But the facilities are very good, it is all modern and works well. The roomfaces the garden and the view was... More

Polished and professional, Guy and Natalie run a comfortable and welcoming bed & breakfast. We booked the smallest double and it was very small with a tiny en suite bath. The furnishings were first-rate and the room was well-appointed. I thought it would be noisy because the stairwell was behind the wall where the bed was, but it was fine.... More

Ok so this isn't the usual kind of place I stay in, as I've paid good money before and have been left disappointed. But this hotel is fantastic, lovely bedroom and wonderful breakfast (I'm even talking posher!). There are original Georgian features and it retains a homely feel. The Owners Natalie and Guy make you feel at ease and are... More

Lovely place to stay. The room was beautiful. Breakfast was really good with a great choice of food and tea and coffees. Near to the town which is just a short walk. Friendly hosts who suggested places to eat and drink. Nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to our next visit to The Kennard in September.
