We arrived late due to a late flight at LHR. Natalie and Guy were there to meet us and welcome us. They were both helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome into their home. The Kennard is within easy walking distance of downtown. Our room was on the top floor and we enjoyed the view. Our room was great. The... More

It's in a Georgian townhouse so lovely atmosphere but you may have lots of stairs to climb if your room is on one of the upper floors. Great breakfast. Location is ideal as in the centre of Bath. No dedicated parking but Guy gave us a visitor parking permit. Once the car was parked we didn't have to think about... More

There is nothing that can be improved at The Kennard. We stayed for one night in July, and received a very warm and helpful welcome. Natalie and Guy are the perfect hosts, and a pleasure to speak with. The Kennard is a stunning building, with a comforting feel, and all the mod cons you would need. Our room (on the... More

I really enjoyed my two nights at the Kennard. Natalie and Guy set out an early breakfast at 7:30 (usually starts at 8am) because a couple of other guests and I had an early morning tour to Stonehenge which was very much appreciated. Try the omelette - you won't regret it. Super comfortable beds. Tea, chocolate and fast wifi in... More

Fabulous breakfast, great host, Natalie, very friendly and helpful. This is situated a 5 minute walk from Bath Abbey and the Roman baths etc. A great selection of eating out within easy walking distance. Would highly recommend it.

We spent two nights at the Kennard in the middle of a busy UK trip. We enjoyed our large room with a nice updated bathroom. Room amenities of bottled water, chocolate, tea, and local literature were appreciated. The location was great for exploring Bath and Guy and Natalie were great with local tips. We enjoyed starting our days with breakfast... More

We only stayed for one night in June and wish we could have stayed longer! The room was huge and had everything in it that you could possibly want. The people were lovely, very helpful and really attentive. The breakfast was really good, great selection, literally had anything and everything. The location was perfect, close enough that everything was walking... More

I received a very friendly welcome from the owner upon arrival. The breakfast (there is a choice but I had the full English) was excellent. The hotel is ideal for people wishing to visit historical Bath as it is located in a lovely Georgian street near the centre. The hotel is comfortable and well appointed. Nice staff. Good value -... Unfortunately, we did not arrive until almost midnight on our expected day of arrival because we got lost driving from Stonehenge. Rang the night bell and Guy quickly helped us park the car and settle in. It was the perfect end to a harrowing day! Next morning we truly loved the breakfast room and buffet provided. Spent the rest of... More

It's a short walk right into the centre of Bath, so couldn't have picked a better spot. Natalie welcomed us and helped sort out parking. We got lucky and ended up almost outside the front of the hotel. From start to finish the service at the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was great and the bed was comfortable. The room we... More
