Stayed here for several days and both Giovanni and Mary were very welcoming. Due to an injury they offered to change rooms that made it easier. The breakfast menu will tantalize your taste buds and highly recommend the omelette. No request was too hard. The rooms were well maintained and clean. Definitely stay here again if come back to Bath.

The Kennard is in a great location and ticks all the right boxes if you like chintzy. We had a superior en-suite room on the ground floor which was fine until the students come home late night/early morning. Mary and Giovanni seem to have a really good ethos for a fine house and business. The breakfast experience has got to... More

We stayed at the Kennard for three nights after completing our walk of the Cotswold Way. Giovanni and Mary are very accommodating, very friendly and very kind hosts. We felt truly welcome and very relaxed during our stay. They gave us great advice on attractions to visit and places to dine based on our personal preferences. Their breakfasts are second... More

I stayed in one of the two single rooms at the Kennard. The room was well appointed, with a sink in the room. The shower and WC are on the landing (shared with the other room). It is only 2 people sharing it, and I never had issues with the other person occupying it for too much time (I didn't... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and couldn't have picked a better place. The location is excellent and just minutes walk from the main attractions of Bath. On arrival at the Kennard we were given a parking permit which allowed us to park along the road outside the hotel. Our bags were taken to our room whilst... More

The Kennard is located a short stroll to the Pulteney Bridge and the heart of magnificent Bath. Parking is on the street where there usually seemed to be plenty of spots available. When you check in the host will give you a parking pass to place on your dash. Giovanni and Mary could not have been more hospitable... in fact,... More

We have been traveling to Bath quite a lot in recent years, but this was our first (but not last stay) at the Kennard. First, location. As location is everything, rest easy as the Kennard is ideally located on a quiet street (literally) only minutes away from central Bath. Absolutely perfect. The Kennard is run by the lovely hosts Mary... More

Great Bed and Breakfast in Bath, perfect location. Hosts stayed late to check us in as traffic awful. Breakfast yummy lots of choice and all fresh. Loan Brollies if you need them, plenty of advise on where to go and what to do if needed. Giovanni and Mary even sent my shoes back by post which I had forgotten. Stayed... More

We stayed here two nights. This lovely place with a designer garden set the tone of our trip to the UK. The room is well appointed and had a fan for the unexpected summer heat. The breakfast is exceptional. Fruit, pastries, yogurts, cheese, a great variety of jams and that is just the cold buffet. On offer is organic local... More

No vacancies was showing when we arrived at The Kennard, but fortunately we had already booked some time ahead. Our friends were not so lucky and had left it too late to find a room here. For those who do not read Trip Advisor it gives a clue as to how popoular this Bed & Breakfast is. The location is... More
