After a very enjoyable visit to Bath at Easter, I returned to experience the Bath Christmas Markets, and again stayed at The Kennard. 5 star last time and this. Well appointed room, comfy bed, peaceful, fantastic breakfasts, convivial hosts and a competitive price on a busy weekend for the city.

the kennard is a quaint but amazing B&B with elements of the old building still in place. The welcome and continued hospitality exceeded expectation. The breakfast is a combination of continental and cooked. Full English was awesome and NOT greasy. Only a short stroll into city centre. All in all a lovely 3 night stay, value for money and wouldn't... More

We wanted an overnight stay with somewhere just to sleep - this was ideal. Great location literally just found the corner from the city centre. Friendly helpful owners. Great breakfast. They give you a permit for on street parking but it's a case of trying to find a space. I would recommend it and I would stay there again

We stayed at the Kennard for two nights in mid-October, 2014. This B&B ended up being an excellent choice! The hostess, Maria, greeted us warmly and, despite my protests, carried our bags to our room (which happened to be room # 1, a room which someone else on this site said to avoid. We are baffled by this as this... More

My daughter and I went for a girlie weekend to Bath. We wanted to do some culture and also Christmas shop. My daughter is a vegan. That was no problem for Maria and Giovanni who went out of their way to have food she could eat. The location is fantastic. Easy access to everything you would want to see and... More

We stayed here to celebrate my husbands 40th Birthday in Bath. The location is fantastic only a short stroll into the city and there is also parking on a permit included as we needed to park a little way from The Kennard to find a space large enough for our car we just pulled up at the front and unloaded...
