We stayed for 2 nights. Had room 3 which was on the 1st floor and overlooked the front. Room was small but very attractive, comfortable bed, decent size shower room. We had breakfast (costs extra £8.50pp) for one morning which was very good - lots of choices and specials available. Staff were very helpful. Parking is a bit of an... More

we booked two rooms, a family room and a double. Both were superb and roomy. Excellent decor and standard of finish. Nice firm mattress too! Highly recommend this hotel but there are two downsides. Parking is close but not next to or in front off the hotel. You have to pay too as it is a public car park. The... More

Really enjoyed staying at Brooks. Rooms are characteristic and very clean. Breakfast was lovely, fresh and a good selection. Close to the centre of Bath which was really handy. Would defiantly stay there again!

The guesthouse is very conveniently located - only a short stroll from the park and the centre of Bath. We stayed one night in Room 22 which is located on the ground floor. I was a little concerned that being on the ground floor we may hear noise from the lounge but we were not disturbed. The room was clean and... More

There were four of us, with a BIT of luggage, so we took a taxi from the railway station. It's about 15 mins walk from the station to the guest house, so if you are backpaking it should not to be a problem. With heavy luggage take a taxi. We got two first floor rooms (the same floor where the... More

Friendly staff with great breakfast service and magnificent food on a terrific menu. Rooms very small and too hot, narrow staircases made navigation a little difficult. Good location in a nice area, with the HOHO bus very convenient. Quite expensive but in an expensive town it is ok value.

Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent, first class. Would love it if they did snacks for lunch or evening meals, the food was perfection. Decor would benefit from updating, but would def return time and time again. Thank you, one and all.

Stayed with a young family. Room was ok. Decor a bit drab and dreary. Holes in the curtains and bathroom towels. TV didn't work in the room. The saving grace was the lovely breakfast. Lady that greeted us gave us all the info we needed on arrival. Fortunately we got a parking permit for the car and managed to get... More

The location was convenient and they were very helpful with parking permit. We had a package with the Thermae Spa, which was good value. The room was a bit tired and could have done with some refurbishing. Not that well equipped.Bathroom very nice. Breakfast was excellent, particularly the granola "shots".

Very close to the centre (10 minutes walking). Good breakfast. Room was nice as well. Manager always tries to help. You can park bikes in front of the house and tie them to the tree. also very close to the bath-bristol railway track.
