Last minute one night stay for short weekend away in Bath. From the initial booking and contact with the accomodation we knew we weren't going to be disappointed. We were able to park much earlier than the check in time specified which if you know parking in Bath is a huge saving on carpark costs. Our room on the top floor was absolutely lovely - very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the show was good. All staff members were extremely helpful and friendly during our short stay. The breakfast was lovely - a good selection and all served fresh to the table. Local ingredients of the best quality. The accomodation asks that people are respectful of other residents when returning later in the day which meant that we had a very peaceful relaxing visit. We will definitely be visiting again

Booked late and got lucky with an upgrade when I arrived in mid March for a one-night business trip. It was an easy, short walk from the city centre, quiet with a very comfortable bed for sleeping along with an excellent breakfast to see me on my way.

I had booked a room mid week just for me but when I arrived staff had upgraded me to one of their beautiful four poster rooms, a lovely surprise. Onsight parking (on a slope but fine) and a warm welcome, booking in was easy. The hotel is fresh, well furnished and with an honesty bar next to the breakfast room. My room, well, very comfortable, tea, coffee biscuits etc and a pod coffee machine. Loved it all, very comfy huge bed and electronic device charging dock as well as the usual appliances. Space to store clothes and suitcases. Just lovely! Breakfast has a choice including full English and vegetarian options as well as smoked salmon and eggs etc. staff were lovely and service speedy. totally recommend this hotel. Wish my visit had been longer! Thank you.

Dorian House was the perfect bed and breakfast for our city break in Bath. A 20 minute walk from the city centre, and many rooms having fine views over the city centre and Lansdown hill to the north. The room was faultless, with biscuits and mints to welcome us, and beautifully warm radiators on cold February days. Breakfast in the conservatory, overlooking the lovely garden, is freshly prepared, with table service. Staff are all professional and friendly. Off-road or on-road parking is available, which is needed in a city on which most roads authorise parking for permit holders only. The booking procedure direct with Dorian House, and all communications after that, were clear, informative and helpful. We would certainly consider staying here again on any future visit to Bath.

We booked Dorian House on the basis of its great reviews and we weren't disappointed. Great staff, great room - we were upgraded to Tallis - great views of the city, great breakfasts, great location and it was great to have free parking. That's it really - it was great.

Went as part of a honeymoon tour around the UK. This place is beautiful and the breakfast was superb. The owners and staff are friendly and approachable. We walked into central bath from here every day and the weather was really hot so it was a bit of a pull back up the hill but not having to worry about or pay for parking was a great bonus.
