What can I say about this revolting, dirty, decrepit hotel that hasn't already been said? The room was dusty and old. There were no toiletries in the bath room just a soap dispenser and I didn't fancy washing my hair with soap so I gave it a miss. The swimming pool was closed. It looked filthy dirty much like the... This so called hotel (it's a B&B really and a bad one at that) is a total rip off. As you walk through the doors and see the awful 2 bright red and gold chairs it gives you a clue as to the rest of the place (sorry I can't refer to it as a hotel). There were 2 of... More

When we pulled up in the car park the nets were filthy, on arrival we read a sign stating the pool was out of order, however we could pay £12 to use the hot tub. We checked this with the Manager, he confirmed the pool was out of order then asked for the payment for our stay. Once we saw... More

If I could give this place less than one star I would. An uncomfortable bed in a bleak room, no dresser, no a/c, no amenities at all. We tried speaking to the manager to get at least a partial refund for checking out early (the reservation was pre-paid). They were unaccommodating on every level and I imagine the only way... More

In July the pool was closed and was an algae cesspool. The hot tub required a per person and per hour fee. The staff was rude. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff refused to allow us to even see the room before we had paid in full. Then refused any refund at all.

The hotel was easy to find although a bit of a trek uphill to get there from the station. but the view of Bath on the way up was beautiful. The Man at reception was friendly and helpful. Our room was a little tired looking and needed a lick of paint... and some net curtains! it overlooked the car park... More

We booked this without looking on trip advisor. We were worried..but gentleman who does front of house was helpful and approachable. We walked into town from here and walked back..the first few hills were fun! The room was calm colours, the bathroom was very clean. It was also very quiet which can be a problem staying in Bath. We stayed in... More

Stayed in this hotel having seen it on Trip Adviser. There was a swimming pool advertised. The pool was out of use as the maintenance men were still adding chemicals, it would be ready for the end of the week. On looking at the pool it was covered almost however the water was green and it was full of creatures... More

I was reading a review from Sidony R (May 2014) I frankly I cannot add any more to the review!! I stayed in a conservatory room which was dirty and the doors didn't slide properly. From about 6.30 in the morning the staff start preparing the breakfast room (directly above us) Not to mention the four poster bed which was... More

My fiancè and I went to this hotel for a long weekend. We were asked to pay the remaining balance whilst signing in (which we found a little strange as it is usually afterwards). The room we had was disgraceful. There were marks on the walls. The bed was falling apart. For some reason, the mattress was on top of... More

hank you for your stay.It is really unfortunate that you did not enjoy your stay.Your vitriolic review is heavy in vitriol but light in fact. Let me redress the balance. You arrived hours early and I informed you that as the room had been serviced you could check in, however the room had not been checked and asked you to let... More
