Just arrived home having stayed at Wentworth House this weekend. This is a really bad hotel. Overpriced. Dirty. Rubbish showers. Disastrous decor. Uncomfortable beds. Impolite staff. There are plenty of other much better places to stay in Bath: book one of them instead.

Eclectic Hotel with Charm The whole hotel was full of eclectic charm, from the jewel encrusted chairs in the lounge to the marble chess set in the bar to the fairy statues in the corridor to the bespoke mirrors around ever corner. The bedroom was colour themed - green in our case (there are others including blue, brown and pink)... More

I stayed for a romantic weekend and upgraded to a special four poster bed room and it was nice, spacious but the decor was rather odd. The hotel is very charming and old fashioned but they have tried to upgrade with brash, cheap funiture throughout which spoils it. It would almost be better to be all old fashioned and at... More

I can't quite understand all the negative reviews. I had a really nice time staying here. All the staff we met were polite and friendly. Room was nice and comfortable with everything we needed. Large range of tea and coffee making facilities and some biscuits on our arrival. T.V, hair drier etc, everything you would need. Room and bathroom were both... More

Arrived at this hotel with excitement and needed rest, but was disappointed within the first minute . Windows with flaking paint, and entrance locked . On ringing the bell the proprietor opened the good with no welcome or even helping us with our luggage . We signed in and was astonished when the owner informed us they don't cook during... More

We were looking to goto Bath as 2 young couples for a bit of sightseeing and a little post christmas getaway and picked this hotel. We were greeted by the very helpful manager who showed us to our rooms and they were both beautiful with super comfy beds and a great breakfast. Great for couples, families and ignore negative reviews... More

We didn't find this hotel as bad as some of the other experiences. However, it was lacking in a few areas. We booked it for a romantic winter break in Bath to explore the Christmas markets and to do some shopping. We arrived on Friday afternoon around 4 and were met by one man dressed in a waistcoat. We stayed... More
