We stayed two nights and found our room satisfactory if rather cramped - the same applying to the en suite. The bed had one of those poorer quality mattresses and stiff, hard pillows. The first morning's breakfast took a very long time to arrive, indeed it took twenty minutes to take our order as the young staff were clearly overwhelmed... More

This was the 3rd time I stayed at Ashley Villa - the staff are very friendly and helpful, within walking distance (about 25-30 mins) to Bath centre - try along the river, very pretty, you will come out at Bath train station - but also bus stop a few steps from front door. Very clean, comfortable, very nice breakfast -... More

Great guesthouse just outside of the centre of Bath but walkable or easy bus, car or taxi options. Comfortable rooms, nice people, fantastic little swimming pool and and first rate breakfast. Good value for money.

The Ashley VIlla was nice and the breakfast was good as well but we had a slight problem with damage to our car while there that put a damper on our last evening. On our 2nd night I returned to the villa to find a 6 inch black scratch on the door handle on my car. The manager allowed me... More

Lindsey and Elizabeth are the friendly managers of the this gem of a place. The B&B is well run, comfortable and the breakfast is sufficient to set one up for the day. The premises has limited parking so arrive early as it's on a first come first served basis. We parked up and never used the car again until our... More

Comfortable room, bit couldn't get connection to Wifi. Breakfast was lovely, especially the home made marmalade. Didn't want to take car into town centre, but didn't realise quite how far out it was. Got a taxi back, which was reasonable.

When we arrived we immediately felt unwelcome. The host was very unsociable and not very cooperative. The host was also rude and was not very welcoming. Also it says in the description that there is a bar which is a lie, there is no bar at all. Overall the rooms and breakfast were okay but we were put off by... More

The rooms are not too big, but very comfortable with excellent sleeping quality. Very friendly, flexible and helpful staff, delicious breakfast. Ideal for families and for individual travellers as well.
