Had difficulty finding a place in Bath to stay for 1 night over a weekend and was recommended to this Hotel. You cannot fault its location as its only a couple of minutes walk to the Roman Baths and heart of the shopping. Its a lovely Georgian building in a beautiful wide street and the rear rooms overlook the Bath... More

The Windsor hotel is ideally situated in Bath and is walkable to everything in the city centre. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We were also able to book in early when we got there as our room was ready. We had a room with a four poster and it was very nice. If the hotel had... More

This is actually my third time staying there! and no doubt I shall stay there again for next time. Stayed in a room on the lower ground the first time, personally don't think it's as nice as the rooms on the higher floors. So would recommend you check which floor the room is on first. I adore the four-poster room.... More

For the price this was expensive and disappointing. A great location near the centre of Bath but you get the impression there is no-one in charge here. Rooms were very nice but not the bathrooms - could have been cleaner. We booked 3 standard rooms at £130 each plus parking. Continental breakfast was average, would much rather have a decent... More

I've already had one review removed, so I will tone this review down. The 'Windsor' could be a little gold mine, the reality is the staff there were rude and do not treat 'customers' as customers. The hotel is dated and I have stopped in far nicer 3 star hotels. Don't allow them to sell you a parking permit if... More

On a mother-daughter trip we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here. All of the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The rooms were very pretty, had a lovely view over rural Bath, and had all the modern conveniences. The location was ideal too as it was a two minute walk into the city centre. The parking permit was... More

Due to a date mixup I needed a last-minute place to stay for 1 night and was happy to find this available on booking.com - travelling on my own so took a single room. The stairs up to the very top were a little difficult but the staff member was very helpful in carrying my case and I do understand... More

The house is very nice with character and the staff were very friendly and welcoming and gave good advice when asking how to get around the city. We stayed in "Laura" which was downstairs with a view of the garden which was a decent size with good storage space. This is the best nights sleep i have ever had in... More

We had an excellent stay at the Windsor Guest House. For a family of 5 this was a really economic option. We all stayed in their basement room, it was really comfortable. Staff were really pleasant and advised us with places to go and eat out.

Had the Sydney Room another reviewer hated because it was below street level. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The shower was a bit tricky to navigate because you had to step way down to get out. Staff was courteous. Location was great for walking to the town center - straight down the street and across the bridge.
