I strongly recommend to NOT spent your hollidays in this hotel. We made reservations and their system failled, duplicating it. So they made us pay this duplicated reservations, even if we haven't acctually done it. They assumed that the system had failled, saying that it is not their responsablity, but the company who does the reservations for them. We tried... more

Four single rooms for one night, b&b rate of £90 per room, and the most spectacularly poor value for a long while, in spite of some efforts by the staff. The grubby and yes, actually smelly bedroom I slept in was utterly depressing - dirty carpet, washed but unironed bed linen, fittings hanging off the wall, and Hammer Horror films... more

Had a desperate search for accommodation for four on a Saturday night in Bath and ended up at Pratt's. In agreement with several of the other reviews, Pratt's is a terrible example of a decayed hotel that has had no money or attention spent on it for too many years - rooms are smelly, broken, dirty, and over-priced! Staff are... more

as this was a last minute booking we couldn't find anything other than the Pratt's... it was highly overpriced due to the last minute booking and a pathetic hotel. The room had a weird unfresh smell to it... very thin walls and the passage looked dingy and scary.the hotel overall was very shabby. its walking distance from the station and... more

Yes, if you stay here you are a prat! This is a typical example of the very worst sort of UK 3* hotel, and I feel ashamed that places like this can manipulate the UK grading system to achieve 3 *s. One * is too many! Our room was tired, dark and grubby. The bathroom was worse. The door to... more

This hotel has excellent staff. Reception and restaurant made us all very welcome. The only shame is the noise from outside which isnt due to traffic, only drunk and disorderly people. the police and council seem very unwilling to help matters and as a result we had many sleepless nights which were more aggravated by the fact that upon being... more

as ladies in our very young 'sixties' we needed to stay fairly near Station and central position. This was just right for that. All staff excellent. Restaurant good and service excellent although there were few guests one night! Hotel clean but a little 'tired' Could do with a little 'face lift' (can't we all?) However thoroughly enjoyed our short break... more

On the plus side, the staff were friendly, the location was excellent and the breakfast was good. The room however, was unfortunately what we come to expect from some old British hotels - tired and in need of a refurb. Our room had a damp wall, so the wallpaper was peeling off - nice! The bathroom was clean, but very... more

Pratts Hotel is old, but this should not mean that it can't be updated sympathetically. The upholstery on some chairs and sofas was so bad that when you sat on them you could feel the springs. Also the whole place was'nt very clean, the bedding in our room was'nt clean, and I removed an under blanket before getting into bed... more

When i entered the hotel i went straight to check in which was a very quick process, i then went up to my room which overall was in good condition but i couldn't get the shower to work properly and the room was a bit small. I ate my evening meal at the hotel which was very nice and the... more
