We wanted to spend New Years Eve in Bath and decided to stay overnight. Prices (understandably given the night) for the city were generally astronomical. Pratt's seemed to offer a good standard and is centrally located, with a more affordable price (although £134 for one night with breakfast is hardly a bargain!). We were given a warm, friendly welcome at... More

Great location Great service and right near everything you need. Place has not had money spent on it recently but it kind of works in its favour as is part of its charm. If you're on a budget and want to stay in the better side of Bath then consider this place if you aren't after palatial accommodation

Pratts Hotel was a great base in Bath. Very central, clean and friendly. The room (a twin) was spacious. Breakfast was buffet style, with lots to choose from and plentiful. It had an old world charm which reminded me of guesthouses I stayed in as a child. Would recommend this hotel, good value for money.

We've been using this for a monthly group meeting over lunch and it has had its ups and downs but generally its ok. Well priced and on balance service has been good. It really has looked dated but that was a certain charm with creaky floorboards and old fashioned carpets. It was long due an overhaul and I'm sure this... More

I arrived in Bath after traveling for 15 hours. While I was being checked in, I mentioned this to the lady at the front desk, and added that I was looking so much forward to soaking in the bath tub for a while before checking the town out. I had booked a single, and even though it said on the... More

Unimpressed! Marks and stains on the carpet, dirty shower/bath, marks all over the wall... Stopped looking at that point as I needed to be able to sleep there later! £80 for one night was daylight robbery! Left feeling like I needed a wash!......

Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the shower / bath worked fine. We were able to use it as our base to explore historic Bath by foot without any discomfort. Breakfast was ample and fresh. Staff were pleasant.

We booked this hotel for a charity event but because there was a horse racing event on the weekend we had booked, they cancelled our booking! They were clearly more interested in making money than helping charity! I spoke to Julie, a member of staff who was very rude, and wouldn't give us the respect of telling us by phone... More

This hotel is a blast from the past! I loved it! Perfectly charming in its antiquated decor, creaky floors and wonky doorways! I've no doubt many will say it needs a re -fub but I loved it just as it is! I've stayed in far more palatial hotels but they lacked Pratts charm! The staff were very attentive and friendly,... Dear KathyCliff, Thank you for your kind comments left for us on tripadvisor. It’s nice to hear such warm comments about our beloved building, even if it does need a bit of TLC. The staff and I love the quirkiness of the uneven floorboards, sash windows and stairs, we think that it adds to the charm of the hotel! I... More

Recently visited Bath for xmas market. Hotel very close walking distance. We parked in the Manvers Car park opposite, it fills up quickly but opposite hotel. Check-in was quick and friendly. The lift very old fashioned as was the room. We had a twin room which was one big double and a single, there was also desk, comfy chair, tea/coffee/kettle,... More
