A return visit to this lovely old hotel. Yes, it's a little faded round the edges but, for me, this adds to its charm. The rooms are large and comfortable, and there is a rolling programme of refurbishment, with a major scheme for the whole hotel planned for Spring 2015 (I only hope it doesn't lose the hotel's unique character... Just back from a two night break with my husband which we enjoyed immensely. The hotel room had comfy twin beds, tea & coffee making facility, telly, hairdryer and a nice bathroom, what more do you need for a short break. It's in a great location for exploring the city & just a few minutes walk from the train station.... More

I've been in the hotel one night with my significant other. We took one room facing the church. Room was old, like the hotel itself, but kind of charming old (for me at least). We took a double room, and it was huge, with an armchair, and a big wardrobe. Bathroom with a bathtub, nice size. I was expecting worse... More

Very dated, noisy outside, bed was comfortable and hot running water. The breakfasts were poor, expensive for what you get. There didn't seem to be a lift and with a bad back trying to carry a suitcase up the stairs was a nightmare. Staff friendly but I wouldn't go back.So many nice hotels in the city and outside where I... More

The hotel is in an excellent location as it is not far from the Abbey and easy walk to all the sites in Bath. It is also an easy walk from the train station. The rooms are adequate but a little old fashioned and the décor was dated, although it seems as though refurbishment of some of the rooms has... More

This review is on behalf of my 75 year old mother and her friend who stayed in a front second floor twin (very noisy traffic therefore would recommend a back of hotel room). They spent 4 days at this hotel 6-10 Oct 2014 . The staff were very attentive and polite, the buffet breakfast was superb having a wide variety... More

Loved this place! It is centrally located, easy to walk to sites, good parking, just out of the busy driving thoroughfare. Expect an older hotel, though plans are in place for updates, we learned during our visit. Breakfast was adequate. Take a top floor room, and you'll feel like you are in Mary Poppins! IT's a roofline of chimneys! You... More

The hotel is in a great location, has a lovely front terrace and is well situated. We hired a training room at the hotel, and during the day the service and support at the hotel was excellent, the food delicious and home made cookies were great. I lost a valuable ring while I was working there and the staff were... More

A friend and I have just come back from a two night break staying at Pratt's Hotel. Although the hotel is "tired" our room was clean with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was large with toiletries provided. The water was hot and plentiful. We had breakfast in the hotel. There was plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast... More
