Brilliant, Booked a different notel near Bath, but cancelled that one and booked Dukes instead based on Tripadvisor Reviews. I was very keen to find somewhere nice, warm and friendly but a bit classy and nice too. This it turns out was perfect, the room we had (Argyl) was really nice, it was a good sized room, layed out nicely... more

Last minute booking two days before a one day (tourist / family) visit to Bath and booked this based on rave reviews in Tripadvisor. Could not fault the place especially as we were upgraded on arrival, the traditional english breakfast (fantastic menu) was absolutely first class, limitless coffee, very pleasant and curteous staff and very gracious too! We loved the... more

I stayed at this hotel with a friend last weekend - the location is excellent, the centre of Bath was within ten minutes walk across Pulteney Bridge. We ate in the hotel on the first night, the staff were helpful and friendly and the food was very good indeed. We stayed in a twin bedded room at the back of... more

We wanted to spend a romantic weekend in the lovely city of Bath for our anniversary. What a great choice the Dukes is. OK, it's not the cheapest hotel in Bath but it is well worth the money. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was very spacious (we had one of the suites). Clean, and well-furnshed. The rooms are... more

My wife's cousin booked the Dukes for us as a surprise and we were delighted. We were in one of the "4 Poster" suites and had a lovely stay. The location, room and staff were all terrific. We have already recommended the hotel and would certainly stay there again. more

My wife and I wanted a weekend in Bath and were recommended this Hotel by a friend. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very close to the centre of Bath which meant it was a good base to look round the area with never too far to walk. It is... more

We booked the Duke for a weekend away and I must admit it wasn't initially our first choice but when you book a hotel on a wednesday for the Friday....well don't expect much choice! I have to say we were pleasantly surprised: the hotel was easy to find, a parking permit was handed to us on arrival and we parked... more

A beautiful hotel, tucked away in one of Baths historial streets. A short walk in to the centre, spoilt for choice with good restaurants. Our stay wasn't cheap but worth every penny. We had a gorgeous suite...one of the best places I've ever stayed. more

We had our wedding in Bath, and stayed at the hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of the week. It is a classic Georgian Hotel in Great Pulteney Street, so the views are heavenly. being so close to the centre of the City means everything is within reach. We had our 19 month old daughter with us, and even... more

We were utterly delighted by this charming hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Real value for money, great accommodation and superb food. A real contrast to an earlier bad experience at the Fishmore Hotel in Ludlow (Dont go!!) Well done to management and staff. more
