We stayed here overnight for a short break in bath - genuinely the hotel was absolutely charming. The staff could not have been any more helpful if they had tried - from offering advice about local amenities to even offering to help my other half get over her cold! All joking aside, the hotel is an exquisite Georgian town house... More

Only wished we'd found this place sooner, having stayed in many of Bath's Hotel's it was a real pleasure to experience the Dukes. Service is second to none. From our moment of arrival Carole (the owner) greeted us and made us feel most welcome. Carole would discreetly appear at all the right moments and went out of her way to... More

We were lost, trying to find an address we knew was nearby but not visible and in need of a restroom. Out of desperation we stopped in Dukes Hotel, a lovely looking place. David greeted us, understood our situation, made some phone calls for us, allowed us the use of the restroom and demonstrated true hospitality. We wish we had... More

Hotel is located close to the city center, in a delightful Georgian street, but not too noisy. Our welcome was very friendly and the room was very good. Breakfast was fine. We were given a parking permit and were able to park very close to the entrance. Only drawback was having to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to... More

Felt fortunate to be staying in such a beautiful location. Found a parking space within striding distance of Dukes, permit supplied by the hotel displayed. No need to use the car again as everything was within walking distance. Beautifully decorated room in keeping with the house. I was concerned being placed in the first room would mean extra noise &... More

We look forward to your return!! Delighted to read that you felt wholly at ease, enjoyed a restful night sleep and awoke with an appetite for our ‘cooked to order’ best in class breakfast. We love to hear that our guests ‘park up’ and shed the burden of a car – the heart of Bath being only a 5 minute... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dukes Hotel while in Bath for one night. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful and full of historic, Georgian houses. The hotel itself is well-maintained, with charming details and excellent service. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit in Bath. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we return... Delighted to read that you both enjoyed an ‘excellent stay’. As you note our Grade 1 listed status precludes the introduction of a lift or elevator. We endeavor to communicate this information within our website, within Trip Advisor responses and when potential guests phone to book. Our receptionist on Friday recalls offering to organize for your bags to be taken... More

Beautiful accommodation, delicious breakfast and such polite and friendly staff. Pleasant, easy stroll right into centre of Bath. I stayed here as part of a birthday surprise organised by my mum, she reports that staff were very helpful in organising things.

Booked at dukes following good reviews, it certainly didn't disappoint. Great location and beautiful building. We stayed in the Wellington Suite, it is on the third floor overlooking the front (no lifts so be prepared to climb stairs!) So much room in this suite and everything provided for a perfect stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and added... More
