We would like to thank the Dukes Hotel very much for our two night stay. My daughter and I enjoyed all the home comforts and beauty of this Georgian hotel. The owners and staff all made us feel most welcome, and all the attention to detail was so much appreciated. The rooms, breakfast and location left us wanting for nothing... More

Bath is always a pleasure and Dukes provided a very good nights stay. The staff were very professional and polite. The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. The en suite shower was nice and powerful and there were plenty of nice big towels and dressing gowns. The location is very handy for the centre of Bath and parking... More

We stayed at Dukes for the first night of our honeymoon. From the start we were impressed by the warm, friendly staff. We stayed in the Athol room on the first floor which oozed charm with it's four poster and period furnishing. Oh, and a welcome bottle of fizz on ice waiting. Thank you so much! Looking over the street... More

We stayed here for two nights on a short visit. Our reservation was handled professionally as were communications between booking and arrival. We were greeted warmly and provided ready assistance with luggage, local advice, recommendations and reservations. We stayed in Beaufort Suite which was very comfortable and clean. Weather was warm but despite overlooking busy street we were able to... More

I found the Dukes hotel by chance after sifting through the internet - what a fantastic find! Our first proper visit and stay in Bath - the scene was set with the imposing Great Pultney Street where the Dukes is situated. A converted town house full of glory and splendour and with numerous stairs (all necessary to work off the... More

There is little stronger confirmation of ‘customer satisfaction’ than a ‘re-booking’. At Dukes we offer ‘unforced hospitality’ and benefit from a genuine, friendly team of professionals – so I am delighted to read that Roman gave up his parking space for you Thank you for the very positive recommendation, we look forward to your visit in September. With thanks. More

Had a fantastic stay in the gorgeous hotel in Bath. It is perfectly located - just our of the noise of the centre but only a short walk into town. We stayed in the Wellington room which was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. The only thing it was lacking was a full length mirror. Breakfast was wonderful and the stay... More

Our location on Great Pulteney Street, a five minute majestic stroll into the very heart of Bath is indeed ‘perfect’. The Wellington suite of rooms offers tremendous views along to the Holburne Museum and of this fine Georgian boulevard. With thanks. More

My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights at the start of July and had the Spa package. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and all the staff were extremely friendly, especially the owners. The room was lovely with a rooftop view of Bath and the breakfasts were also really good. We thought... More

Thank you for the very enthusiastic endorsement of Dukes. We feel very privileged to be based at the heart of a World Heritage City. We enjoy little more than to feel our guests have captured sights, memories and a little of the magic this wonderful city has on offer. With thanks. More

We have been to Bath on numerous occasions whilst staying with family near-by however, this time we wanted to stay in the city centre The hotel has a perfect location, literally 5 mins from the city centre and the shops (one being a Waitrose for supplies.) Parking was very easy with lots of spaces near the hotel, they kindly gave... More

Our ‘on street’ parking permits offer guests the opportunity of parking within any of over 625 parking bays that surround Dukes. As you mention once ‘parked up’ it is a great relief to be able to leave the car, untouched for a couple of days. The heart of Bath is a five minute stroll away, along Great Pulteney Street, arguable... More

Stayed for a weekend break with friends to celebrate a "big" birthday. Hotel is well located near the centre of Bath and parking was easy and free on the roadside with a permit provided by the hotel on arrival. The hotel itself is small but perfectly formed - the rooms are individually and tastefully decorated as well as clean and... More

The Norfolk suite, overlooking Great Pulteney Street, on the ground floor, are a superb set of rooms. Equally, we agree that the team are ‘fantastic’ as each member is committed, focused and takes great pride in presenting Dukes at her very best. Thank you for the ‘great choice’ evaluation. More
