My husband and I choose the beautiful city of Bath to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. After looking at the Trip Advisor reviews for Dukes Hotel I decided to book. I am very pleased to say that we made the best choice. The beautiful a a Georgia building is beautifully furnished and has a 'home from home' atmosphere, the staff... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Dukes Hotel. On booking we had taken the last available room but on arrival we were upgraded to the Roxburghe room on the third floor. We arrived early in order to make the most of our City break, the Hotel gladly looked after our luggage while we wandered off into the City... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on our minimoon and were very pleased with our choice. It's a lovely hotel in a very good, quiet location just a few minutes walk from the centre and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was very nicely furnished, the bed comfortable and the feel throughout very plush. Breakfast is served... More

Thank you for the absolute confirmation of your interest in returning to Dukes. As you note the property pervades a ‘comfortable and plush’ personality and we hope meets the needs of all our guests. Our location, a 5 minute level stroll into the heart of Bath is indeed difficult to beat. We look forward to your return. Many thanks. More

Stayed at Dukes for a long weekend and have to say met nearly all our expectations. Its location could not be bettered, as it is only a short 10 min walk to the Baths and town centre. Room was very large (stayed in the four poster) and comfortable, breakfast was of a high quality with a nice choice. Only negative... More

What a great choice, a beautiful Georgian terrace the Dukes Hotel is very clean, easy to find and convenient to allow us to walk into the city & the staff were all amazing. Even though close to the city it was very quiet. It is not a large chain hotel so don't expect restaurants, bars etc but that is part... More

Delighted that you thoroughly enjoyed meeting with Amelia. All our team live in or close to Bath and share an enormous pride in this beautiful Georgian - World Heritage City. As you note we have a superb location – close to the heart of Bath though away from the night time noise – a 5 minute level stroll along the... More

What a wonderful hotel! We had a deluxe room which didn't disappoint! The bed was large and comfortable. The little en-suite lounge had lovely views and everything was spotlessly clean. There was a substantial and varied breakfast menu and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. I had the English cooked breakfast which was delicious and presented beautifully. For those... This is a fantastic place to stay and I hope to return one day. The rooms are adequately furnished in a style that represents the hotels period of design but with all the mod cons you’d expect of a hotel of this kind. As mentioned in countless other reviews, the breakfast is great and well worth making the effort for.... More

It was only a month since we returned from our first visit to Dukes Hotel that we re-booked; our stay there was so relaxing, so peaceful and so memorable. The staff are exceptional: friendly, professional and caring with a very personal touch. The rooms are very traditional for the ambience of Bath, each one with its own character. As it... More
