We went here for a spa session and loved it! We had the spa to ourselves, pretty much, and spent a lovely couple of hours in the pool, sauna, steam room, and plunge pools. We then relaxed for a short while in the relaxation room, before called for our treatments. I had a deep muscle massage, and it was excellent!... More

Stopped here for afternoon tea which was served in the garden as was a sunny afternoon. Service was very efficient and presentation and quality of the sandwiches and cakes was excellent. The hotel is in the final stages of major renovation work and all looking very nice, this did not impact on our enjoyment at the hotel.

My wife and I had an overnight stay here on Valentimes Day 2014. This was a special package which include a special multi course dinner, bottle of champagne and chocolates. Well I did say it was expensive. On arrival you are presented with a picture dominated by scaffolding but do not let that get in the way. On going through... More

Another visit to this hotel has confirmed it among our favourites. The Bath experience is about re-living the splendours of Georgian England and you really get that at the Royal Crescent. From the reception hall with the open fire in winter and the walled gardens you get a feel for what it would have been like to live in one... More

Stayed here one night in the Percy Suite ages ago, but thought I would come back and give it a review as it was stunning. Put aside how lovely Bath itself is, the hotel's location couldn't get any better - central, beautiful and valet service means no parking concerns. The room itself was beautiful. We were greeted exceptionally warmly and... More

I stayed for one night and enjoyed it very much. it is being renovated and this may be an issue for some travellers. I liked the atmosphere, people are really nice and food is just great. the rooms are large and very English-style. Parking is free. A bit overpriced but I am coming back.

I stayed here this week on a business trip to Bath and was not disappointed, the staff are excellent, the room was classy and spacious, food was of a very high standard and the general feel of the property oozes class, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Had seen some of the reviews and was a little concerned but pleased to say we did not have to worry. Can recommend Room 47 at the top of the building. Quietest room I have ever been in! Spent the afternoon in the Bar, excellent choice of cocktails and wines. Choice of bar meals was excellent, fish and chips were... More

We stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary. On arrival we were shown to our room/suite. I was a bit under whelmed at the sitting area of the room which looked out onto a gate and had a tv fixed to a wall and a sofa positioned about four feet away from said tv. It all felt a bit un-loved... More

Sadly once a great hotel is now no more. True a renovation has been undertaken but in a banal style utterly unsuited to the grandeur and elegance of the buildings and reminiscent of an upmarket pub. The service is well meaning but wholly lacks the subtlety and confident class of yesteryear. The food is reasonable - not special - but... More
