We visited with family for lunch on a Sunday. Surprised by how quiet the dining part was, but plenty of local people in the bar. This restaurant has improved markedly in the last couple of months. The food is now excellent and the wine selection is reasonable. Their only weakness is the service. It's not bad, but the younger staff are a little bit impatient and seem to have somewhere else to be!

This pub has a couple of recently renovated and very spacious rooms above it. There is also a communal lounge/kitchen area (where dogs can stay). Staff were very professional and friendly.
