We were expecting a small boutique hotel in a grade I listed building. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Bath, the rooms are beautifully finished and the hotel is tastefully decorated. They have thought of everything. As other reviews point out, the rooms are small and ours was rather toasty at times, but so long as this is what... More

Lovely apartment; pleasant decor and very comfy bed. Situated centrally so easy to walk to everything. Lots of stairs (in common with most of Bath!) but manageable. Everyone very welcoming and helpful and would definitely recommend and stay here again. Access on arrival is a bit difficult as double yellow lines but Paul (Manager) met us with key and helped... The Halcyon made us feel at home for a reasonable price in a great location. When I come back to bath I will be staying at the Halcyon every time. cannot find one thing to complain about. They were also very helpful with advice of what to do in bath.

This hotel is perfect for a stay in Bath. It is located right in the city centre and is great value for money. The rooms are very clean, nice decor and have everything you need. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We will defiantly be back!

Loved every thing about the Halycon, from our room to the service we received and the beautiful breakfast we got served. Luxury bedding and gorgeous ensuite bathroom made our stay dreamy. Parking is single storey NCP out front of hotel so cost a bit but would cost the same throughout Bath. Within minutes walk of all top sightseeing attractions in... More

We stayed in the hotel for one night's stay to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We had a very pleasant stay - the room was comfortable, the staff were exceptionally friendly, the continental breakfast of excellent quality, and the cocktails in the Circo Bar to die for. Brilliant position for city centre and Bath Spa station. Well done all round!

We stayed for our tenth wedding anniversary in their apartment. The lady who greeted us was really professional, helpful- she showed us around and how everything worked and gave us some advice about the area! The apartment is furnished to a high standard, it was a really peaceful retreat for a few days! Great location, great rooms, great staff: Only... More

We traveled extensively around the UK, and the Halcyon was one of the loveliest places we stayed. Every detail felt just a little more select and special -- not necessarily more expensive, just more thoughtful and lovely, from the tea service in the room to the decor to the comfort of the beds. The internet was fast and simple to... More
