We stayed at The Halcyon in mid June. We were slightly early for check-in, this wasn't a problem. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and swift. Our room was on the third floor, one set of stairs were steep, the others not so bad. The room was lovely and spacious, enough for two, the bed extremely comfortable, the powerful shower,... More

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and a good location. When we arrived our allocated room was on the third floor but we found the stairs rather difficult as the hotel does not have a lift. We spoke to reception and were given a room on the first floor which was much better to suit our needs. I would certainly recommend... More

The apartments are spacious, beautifully decorated with muted tones, huge sofas and lively furnishings. They are in a great central location and our apartment (3) was flooded with light by 4 floor to ceiling windows in the lounge/kitchen area. Unbelievably they are pet friendly too. Easy check in process and the lovely porter restaurant next door.

Hotel was great. It had a good location on bath. The rooms are modern & quirky. I loved my stay and wished it was longer. Only wish is that as a resident you could drink later than midnight with a group of you.

If you want more seclusion than a hotel offers but are too fussy for Airbnb then serviced apartments are the way forward and the Halcyon Apartments in Bath are a great example. Although the Halcyon Hotel gets all of the positive press, the apartments are better positioned - near the Circus and Royal Crescent - and give those staying an... More

I was recommended to go to Bath in between arriving back at Heathrow from a long holiday in Europe and my flight back home. After some logistic problems I arrived safely in Bath and was soooo happy to see my Hotel was just a three minute walk from the Train Station, huge bonus. My room was relatively large for England... So central for everything in Bath. Parking opposite which was convenient. Lovely room - not huge but big enough. We were on the third floor and the stairs are pretty steep and narrow so you have to be a little agile! Great bar in the basement which changes to breakfast room which is really casual in the morning - great... More

I was visiting Bath for two nights and had a wonderful stay at The Halcyon. The location is ideal and a five minute walk from the train station, with clean rooms and a nice breakfast spread. The staff were all very friendly and quick to help with directions around the town. I'd highly recommend staying here and found it very... More

Stylish, clean hotel in a great location and great for a car-free girls weekend. We walked from the station (2 minutes!) and to the Roman Baths, mani/pedi place, hairdresser, restaurants, great shops, a comedy night at Komedia and the Jane Austen Centre. Fell in love with Bath, rather! Had a good nights sleep too. And love the Smarties in the... More
