The Halcyon apartments surpassed our expectations. We stayed with our dog and were made to feel extremely welcome. The apartment was well equipped and also centrally located so all the sights of Bath were within easy reach. Breakfast in the Porter was also excelled.

Lovely hotel with 5 star amenities. Room had king bed, lush linens, great shower. Not a large room , but high ceilings and big windows made it feel roomier. Can not beat location. Staff was professional, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is ample continental with meats and cheeses, fresh fruit cup, boiled eggs, pastries and toasts. Would definitely stay here again... More

We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Bath on our 10th wedding annerversary, the hotel was not easy to get to by car so we parked 1st in a local multi story we used South gate as this was the closest which is in the city centre. On the 1st impressions of our room, it was small and the... More

Recently renovated hotel in a heritage building. For this reason rooms could not be modified. That being said our room and bathroom were tiny but cleverly designed with modern decor. Location excellent right in center of town near Roman Baths and Cathedral. There was parking across the street but expensive. Breakfast excellent. Although near a main street room was quiet.... More

On arrival the reception staff were polite, friendly and efficient. Our room was on the top floor 3.3 - there are a lot of stairs, even as a young couple! The room was small but very clean. The bed was very comfortable but the cocktail bar directly below was noisy especially after it closed at 3am. Great location for shopping... More

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from train station and another 5 minutes to the Roman Baths and the rest of the shopping area of Bath. The room was on the smaller side but for a night it was just fine, the breakfast was continental and plentiful, you could even make your own hard or soft boiled eggs at... More

The Good... after requesting a room change, as our original room was the size of a shoe box and hotter than the sun we were transferred to another room (which I may add was at the same price of the shoe box hell) was amazingly spacious, cool and all in all a much swankier affair. If I had originally been... More

Our stay at The Halcyon in Bath has made me determined to always stick to my first choice of hotel. For a last minute booking perhaps you shouldn't expect too much, but when compared with other hotels in the same price range as the Halcyon I would have hoped for much more. It's opposite Baths main police station so we... More
