There were four of us staying at high beeches on our road trip around the UK. We were greeted pleasantly but later that day went to see the breakfast room to be barred at the door saying it was set for a family affair that is great but there is a polite way to say this. Not guard the door... More

Thank you for your positive comments. This is a private house and the 'breakfast room' is in use for our guests only in the morning for breakfast. That particular evening we had all our family home for a wedding so we were using the room that night - it is our private space and no, we would not have expected... More

A charming Georgian house set on the outskirts of Bath run by a lovely family who do their utmost to ensure you have what you need. Twin room was spacious and well decorated, lovely and light colours/furniture, with a seating area in bay window with fab views over the Cotswolds and en suite. Lady was always available to answer queries.... More

My boyfriend an I stayed at the High Beeches for 2 nights in July and it was such a lovely stay! The owners are so nice and willing to help, our room was so lovely and comfy and the Breakfast was delicious! It's really quiet too, one little minus is that it's a pretty long way to bath centre but... More

Lovely to meet such nice people. Both Ian and Alison were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rufus couldn't wait to greet us too. Nice relaxing atmosphere. An elegant property and good attention to detail. Loved the french teaspoons with a cute little bee (Laguiole) Nice touch too, a Bath Reward Card on keys (and one to take away). Very useful,... The B&B is a bit hidden on the slopes near Bath, but once you're there, you're welcomed by a very friendly couple. There's space to park the car behind the property (saves you the hassle of navigating though Bath). Nice clean room, very comfortable bed. Overall good value for money

Our room was beautiful and spacious. There was a great pub/restaurant close/by and the bus stop to Bath was just down the street. We used this B & B as our base to not only explore Bath but also to take a side trip to Salsbury. We even dabbled in a bit of falconry. It was a great stay.

Even though the owners were away in Shanghai at the time we stayed, the lady (sorry we can't remember her name!) who they left in charge was amazing. Not only did she wait up for us to arrive from London (around 10pm), but she was up early to cook us a hearty breakfast before an early morning tour the next... More

Both our room and our kids' room were lovely and clean. Rufus, the dog, won us over!! Ian and Ali are really fun and very interesting to talk to. Although it's not located in the heart of Bath, the bus line is just a short walk down the street so getting to the heart of Bath is easy. We wished... More

This was a great spot for us to stop over on our one day visit to Bath. Ian and Alison were wonderful and we enjoyed a quiet comfy room and a great breakfast. We were able to park our car and the bus stop was a block away and a 5 min ride into town. We would not hesitate to... More

The property is in a great location just outside of Bath (regular buses 10 mins to the city centre). It made an ideal base for both exploring bath and also escaping the bustle and going on walks through the countryside. The room itself was a large double, which was both spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The owners Ian and Alison... More
