This is in a fabulous location in Bath and the rooms are very nice and spacious. Sue is a very gracious and accommodating host. Since we had to catch our train early, she even served us breakfast earlier than their scheduled time. Unlimited supply of bottled water (free) and very courteous and helpful staff. I would stay here again. I... More

Pros: Great wireless internet connection, even on top floor!!! I left a personal item behind and Sue contacted me immediately to arrange for it's return to me. I was much obliged. Alan greeted me on arrival and introduced me to Bath's museums, attractions, restaurants and night life options. So helpful! Spacious bedroom room with view of street/green and spacious "private"... We stayed but one night and had a wonderful experience. Our room was on the third floor, and Alan, the Innkeeper, was very accommodating in carry our luggage. The room itself was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Our only compliant was that there was insufficient towels and no robes in the room. We would have expected more, since the Abbey is... More

We stayed in the Annex of 3 Abbey Green in the Emma Woodhouse Room. Very pretty. Not an en-suite , but the modern bathroom was right next door and ours was the only room on that level - bathrobes provided - also enjoyed having an adjustable and hand held shower! Sue served a lovely breakfast with lots of choice -... More

My family of three (four on the final night) stayed three nights at the Three Abbey Green after catching the National Express Bus from Heathrow. We were maybe 100 yards from the Bath Abbey, the Pump Room, and the Roman Baths. So many people were taking pictures of this property that we felt like we were staying in a tourist... More

We stayed in the Jane Austen wing , in the Emma Woodhouse room ..on 1st floor .. Fantastic room and Bathroom. We had warm weather whilst we were there, but we were able to leave the window open and leave a fan on and this made it fine to sleep . We loved staying at Three Abbey Green. It is... More

Three Abbey Green is an excellent choice for a trip to Bath. It is a great location. Sue and Derek are wonderful. We stayed in 6 places during our two week trip and it by far had the best English/Scottish breakfast. Highly recommend!!!!

We came from several US states to a mini family reunion in Bath and loved staying at Three Abbey Green. It is just steps from the Abbey, in a shaded courtyard and the rooms and breakfasts were great. But, the best part of all was meeting Sue and Derek. They treated us like family, were so helpful in deciding what... More

Stayed in Three Abbey Green for two nights in July. Excellent location and fantastic atmosphere in the square outside. Booked the room called Old Plane Tree. Beautiful spacious room at the front of the house. Breakfast was a high standard and Sue and Derek were very hospitable and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Three Abbey Green is a Four Star Gold Award guest house, hidden away in a quiet cobbled square in the heart of central Bath. A stone's throw from the Abbey and Roman Baths, everything you could wish to see is on your doorstep. A leisurely walk to the Royal Crescent and King's Circus takes in an eclectic mix of boutique, independent and big-name shops, street performers and stunning Georgian architecture along the way. And when you get there, don't forget to visit the Assembly Rooms - ladies, no visit would be complete without trying on a corset and crinoline at the Fashion Museum. Whether you're here to relax at the Thermae Bath Spa, take in a little culture at the Theatre Royal, or shout yourself hoarse in support of your team at the Bath Rugby ground, Three Abbey Green is ideally situated for everything Bath has to offer.A Grade 2 listed building, parts of which date back to 1689, the main house has seven rooms (including two large suites ideal for families or groups), each with its own character and unique charm. Period features such as original fireplaces and wood panelled walls fit comfortably with tasteful contemporary furnishings. Greet the morning with an award winning breakfast, packed full of local produce. Don't worry if you have dietary needs - we can meet them all, given a little notice! As part of our commitment to expanding upon the service we currently provide, we are extending our award-winning bed and breakfast, Three Abbey Green, into the beautiful Georgian maisonette next door (which was once Four Abbey Green apartment). ... more   less
