We stayed here for two nights on my first ever visit to Bath. The house is old and quaint but very well kept. Our room was medium sized but adequate; the bed comfortable the bathroom well appointed. Our host was welcoming and informative, giving helpful advice and opinions about what to see and do in Bath, as well as serving... More

Our stay in Bath was short - too short - but we thoroughly enjoyed it and staying at Somerset Villa made the visit perfect. The room was beautifully decorated, bright and airy. The bed was very comfortable and we were not disturbed by traffic noise even though we had to sleep with the window open due to the heat. The... More

What a fabulous city Bath is. You couldnt ask for a nice place to stay. Beautiful decor in the room and I had a quick look in another room, same again, lovely fluffy towels, clean and spacious. Quiet location even though its on a pretty major road. 15 minute walk into Bath. Host was amazing, lovely Irish man with a... More

We have just enjoyed another great stay at this fab b and b. We stayed in a different room this time and it was lovely, very clean, nice bedding, fluffy white towels etc. As it was warm we left the window open all night and it was definitely quiet enough to do so :) The quality of the breakfast is... The owners of this property really make your stay welcoming and easy. The rooms are beautifully English with everything you could possibly need available. The property is about 20 mins walk from the centre of Bath - but you walk through a beautiful park with a fantastic play area for kids only about 5 mins walk from the B&B. The... More

Upon our arrival we were greeted with a very sincere welcome from the hosts - also a much appreciated brew. Patricks knowledge and suggestions were "spot-on" - sorry we missed the mayors guided walk. Despite being on a main road the house is easily accessible and the room was spacious, clean and quiet. Full cooked breakfast was good - other... More

We stayed with Patrick in June of 2011, so i know this is very late, but i can't NOT leave a review. Patrick was a wonderful host, knew the city & it's attractions well. Breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Somerset Villa and hope to go back someday!

This B&B is superb! Paddy and Cathy totally went that extra mile and made my girlfriends birthday weekend away even more special. I cannot fault Paddys' enthusiasm and knowledge of Bath and the activities/attractions. Thank you both for your hospitality and friendly advice!

Upon the recommendation of Trip Advisor, I booked for our little party of friends to stay here for a night. We booked 3 rooms and found the proprietors, Christine and Patrick, were very accommodating towards my friends's dietary needs. Upon arriving, we received a warm welcome from Patrick who gave lots of useful advise about the city. The rooms looked... More
