Easy to find, close to park & ride, very friendly staff. Room clean and attractive. Roaring log fires on a cold evening with great food...adds to the ambience of not wanting to leave the cozy environment to rave it up in the centre of Bath.

I stayed here with my boyfriend and two friends for one of their birthdays. The rooms were nice and spacious, although the toilet in our room was playing up. but the owners were very helpful and acted quickly to resolve it. Our short stay was lovely. Friendly staff, cosy room and a delicious breakfast. I'd recommend it.

We live fairly near this pub/restaurant/hotel. We have tried it several times and will not be going back. There are chalk boards outside stating families welcome and a notice board at the entrance claiming families are especially welcome. I beg to differ. Stopped for a meal 19/11/11. In the party 3 of us had the 10oz steak, we all had it rare, not one of us managed to finish it. It looked delicious and was as tough as the proverbial old boot. Sorry Blathwayt, you failed big time on this occasion.
