I don't understand how places like this are allowed to continue trading. The smell is the first thing you notice on arrival. It permeates through Reception and up through the stairwell but is nothing compared to the disgusting miasma which greets you when you enter the room. Other reviewers were correct about the 'changing room' smell. The hotel was full (the £19 deal) so we could not change rooms. Overall Travelodge rooms are OK, reasonable size, warm etc but are tired.
