Although a little difficult to locate, this littlw hiccup was well worth it. The house is lovely, in beautiful countryside and surrounding gardens. The room was large, with a shower as good as it gets in the UK. the hostess was helpful and friendly, and we loved the African pictures on the walls, not finding them at all out of... more

Come on! Dirt track, Pig farm? What ? Rubbish! The 'House' is set in a fabulous location, - rolling 'Somerset hills' with stunning acres of garden. I am 'fussy' but felt very comfortable with my room and what appeared to be newly fitted on suite which was 'pristine'. The views from my bedroom window were to die for. The local... more

We travelled to the area for a wedding, and stayed for three nights. We enjoyed ourselves, and found the owners very friendly and helpful. The building exterior and grounds are beautiful, as are the views. The interior was pleasant and comfortable, with a dramatic main room and staircase, though the decor was a bit bland. Our room had a great... more

I often stay here. It's a lovely, quiet, secluded spot to escape from the bustle and hassle of city life and I'm always well looked after. Peter and Caro are excellent hosts and there nothing more relaxing than a refreshing walk around the local countryside (maybe to and from the pub) or an amble in the beautiful gardens knowing there... more

This is my second visit to Greenham Hall using it as a base to visit relatives in the area. I cannot say enough about how wonderful both my visits have been. Caro welcomes you so warmly into her home and provides all that you might need. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The extensive... more

What can I say Greenham Hall is truly delightful, the grounds and settings are stunning and when we arrived we were greeted by a truly lovely host. The House itself is amazing just what you would expect a large stately home to look like It very much feels like a home away from home and a perfect location to allow... more

My husband, and I have just spent a wonderful weekend at Greenham Hall. This is the perfect "get a way from it" destination. We couldn't have asked for better! Our hosts, Caro & Peter, were so welcoming. We had a lovely room overlooking the vast gardens. Unlike the last reviewer I loved the fact that this magnificent house was full... more

I am honestly dumbfounded by the previous glowing reviews. Greenham Hall is situated on a dirt road next to a pig farm. Although the house is indeed old, the main staircase features a giant black-and-white blow-up photograph of lions, glaringly out of place in a period setting. In a corner of our room was a sink, encased in a hideous... more

A fabulous property set in a picturesque location, Greenham Hall gave us the ideal 'get away from it all location' for a short stay in Somerset (wish we could have stayed longer). The hosts, Caro and Peter really could not have made our stay more pleasant and went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after.... more

This is a wonderful place with a great atmosphere and first class hospitality. The rooms and the lounge are spaceous and comfortable. I have just returned from my second stay here. It's so beautifully located and peaceful, but within easy driving distance of Taunton and the motorway. I'm sure that anyone who chooses Greenham Hall will be delighted. It's very... more
