Stayed 2 nights. Room was small but very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Best full English I've had for long time. Easy to find and close yo the centre. Off street parking.Would stay again.

Very dated interiors and decor. Twin room booked was a good size with spacious en suite, but the fitted carpet could have done with a good clean. Both beds were so hard we had a rotten nights sleep. The miscellaneous coat hangers in the wardrobe left over by other guests didn't impress. Good breakfast, but not happy with the standard... More

Friendly B&B, good double rooms in annex at the rear of the property. The bathroom was clean with shower available and plenty of towels and storage areas in the bedroom. Breakfast was good, full English with plenty of toast, tea/coffee/juice and cereals. Free parking available at rear of property.

This little gem is conveniently located near the town center. I was given a warm welcome upon arriving at the doorsteps. I originally booked into a single room but was upgraded to the family room (1 double bed and 1 single bed) due to booking error. The room and bathroom were well equipped and of a decent size, although the... More

Good location, 5 minutes walk to Abbey & 15 minutes to town centre over English Bridge. If you get a room at the back I would assume it would be a lot quieter those that overlook the maim road! Our room also suffered from plumbing noises, both from our bathroom but also from adjacent rooms. Breakfast service was rushed at... More

Attended wedding at The Lord Hill hotel next door, they had run out of rooms so suggested we stay in the B&B. Started off a bit strange from the start, emailed & phoned to book, sent cheque but received no confirmation. On speaking to reception they couldn't confirm whether we had a booking or not as they do not put... More

A poor bed and breakfast, the staff seemed to look down their noses at the customers, the rooms were very old fashioned and you could hear running water gushing through pipes in your room every time another guest used the toilet or shower. The windows did not open and the walls had damp on them
