I went in The Old Post Office for a beer, the glass was filthy dirty and obvious that the beer had been watered down , to all good drinkers out there do not visit this place as you are being ripped off.

Stayed for 5 nights whilst on business here with my dad. Lovely Bed and Breakfast in the heart of shrewsbury. Staff are friendly and welcoming, make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious and clean with ensuite facilities. Would recommend the Old Post Office to anybody traveling to Shrewsbury

The room was lovely but there was 4 lots of stairs and 4 doors to go through so we could not take our cases up to our room just an enough stuff for overnight in a little pack and the nearest parking was long term paid down 2 streets away.

Good nights sleep on a comfortable bed though light sleepers may suffer as this is a Grade 2 listed building and you can hear music until the pub closes. Access to the... More

The main course was tasty and piping hot. We both had a pudding; my wife's portion of bread and butter pudding was enormous/ My apple crumble was... More

I have stayed here for the past three months and I have nothing but praise for the accommodation. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend the OPO for any type of visit to see the beautiful Shrewsbury. The only bug bare is the parking.

Visting Shrewsbury for the weekend and found this place tucked away, we had heard good things about it on trip advisor so thought we'd give it a go, two for ten quid on food, so thought well it is what it is see what it's like, but very nice food, cosy, good ale and all at a cheap price, win!

This is certainly a great location and a pub with a great atmosphere. But the rooms were rather basic and noisy due to the pub below. Service was very friendly. Value was excellent. Clean and Tidy and Breakfast very nice

The ham tasted off like vinegar but because they were adament it came fresh daily from a local butcher I was dismissed and nothing was done. They didnt even have intention on checking it for other customers. Not recommended. Who is to say the local butcher hadnt gave them some older or poorly stored meat
