Came here for accommodation as we were at nearby Pimhill Barn for a wedding. It's a mix of really old and quaint along with modern accommodation. The room we had was clean tidy and had a really nice powerful shower. We were blown away by the genuine friendliness of the staff and there willingness to talk to you. Nothing was... More

We came for a reunion dinner for 40 people, many of whom had travelled some distance to attend. The dinner was excellent, well presented and cooked with all requests (such as for rare beef) provided. The service was superb and all the staff were friendly and had a smile on their face. Everyone had a wonderful time and I really hope to return... More

Ate here on a Saturday evening in November from the gourmet menu. Myself and my husband enjoyed wonderful food, what a delight. Cannot remember having such happy waiters/staff anywhere like this, they were all so friendly and helpful as well as being very professional. One shouldnt pick a favourite, but the spanish waiter was second to none. My only regret... More

This was our second visit to this hotel and we were a little dubious about returning, as, even though the food and service were absolutely faultless, we were concerned about the quality of rooms. There is a very strange aroma, (maybe of disinfectant) throughout the bedroom areas. On this visit we stayed in room 18 which, though well appointed, could... More

We had booked three nights at the Albright Hussey, travelling with friends on one of our frequent jollies. On the morning we were to travel, my wife was unwell, so we suggested our friends went ahead and we would follow on under our own steam, either that day or the following. Bare with me. This is relevant. We were actually... More

Room was just about acceptable in terms of size, with about enough room for two chairs and a small side table, along woth double bed, dressing table and side cabinets. The bathroom was again only just big enough to incorporate bath, toliet and basin, which was disappointing for a four star hotel charging more than £100 for b & b.... More

Just returned from the most fantastic weekend, Paul Owner/Manager was extremely attentive. Staff excellent. Room out of this world. Stayed in The Royalist Suite, breathtaking. Food fantastic and Breakfast perfect. One of the best places I've stayed. Will definitely return! 😀

Clearly some trouble has been taken to improve this hotel and it does have some lovely architectural features. That said, what a disappointment. It is fusty, musty and smelt like an old folks home, or hospital. We wondered if it was a polish they were using but it was very overpowering and not pleasant. Many windows frosted and shut -... We attended a family wedding here on Saturday 4th October 2014 and i would recommend this venue 100% for any couple looking for a place to hold their wedding. The beautiful 18th century hall was perfection in its self, The outside wedding setting was amazing with the flowing stream and black swans. The staff were probably the most helpful and... More

Any place that welcomes guests is only as good as the people who run it and work there. EVERYBODY at the Hussey were more than this. We didn't want to leave, and that includes the dog. We could not fault anything, and to top it all, the food was exceptional. We hope to return next year.
