We stayed here for the one night in the Aragon Suite. The welcome we were greeted with was warm, genuine and friendly by the owners, like old friends or relatives. The house is beautiful and it's character maintained in keeping with it's period. The tour we had was so interesting and it was a great insight to this beautiful house.... More

My friend from Boston MA was coming over to celebrate with me 50 years of friendship. Shrewsbury was a midway stopover en route to Pembrokeshire. Found this by accident.............but what a gem! Stayed in the Mary Tudor Suite, but hope to come back to try all the others. What a place! Old House Suites delights with plenty of character and comfort as well as the friendliest of hosts. This 500 year old house is magnificent, we stayed in the Mary Tudor suite which is like going back in time. Steeped in history it is a one off. Superb hosts, superb location excellent food. For a special occasion or a one off ,you really should try it and experience all that it offers for yourself,you will love it. More

Simply wonderful!! I don't normally write reviews, but I do feel the need after 3 blissful nights staying in The Mary Tudor Suite at The Old House Suites. A beautiful house, a tranquil room, wonderful hosts and delicious breakfasts. A truly unforgettable mini-break. More

A fabulous weekender with a very warm welcome, enjoyed the historical tour of the house and it made a great place to stay to explore the area. Although in the town centre, the room (Mary Tudor Suit) was very quiet. More

Despite cold and dismal weather the whole Shrewsbury experience (what a great old town, enclosed by the river with a scarcity of 'chain' shops) was greatly enhanced by this accomodation.
