We returned to the Tudor Guest House a couple years since staying here before. Once again, Kevin & Susan were great hosts. The house has so much history and it's location is perfect. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Great full English breakfast. Be prepared for the steep, narrow staircase & low doorways & beams. Shrewsbury is an... more

The husband and I have just returned from a one night stay at the Tudor House. Kevin and Susan are such warm hosts. As soon as we stepped into the property, they made us feel like old friends. The building is beautifully kept with all the features and character one would expect from a 15th century house; low ceilings, steep... more

Tudor house is a very quaint guest house situated in a great location and within easy proximity to pubs, restaurants etc. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I informed Susan the proprietor of my dietary requirements when I booked, and she went out of her way to make sure I had the right items to eat, thanks... more

Just visited my aunt and uncle who have just left this B&B after a long weekend stay. Had great time, very hospitable and knoweledgeable but discrete hosts. Great breakfasts with lots of fresh food. Parking is close by and good value for town centre lcoation. Access to town centre very close Uncle has bad hip but had no found access... more

We stayed at Tudor House,we booked it direct with the owners in May 08. On arrival we where told that we had to park our car in a carpark half a klm away from the B.B. This carpark was unsecured costing us ten pounds per day, which I feel the owners should inform guests at time of booking...... The very very... more

This vistor has made a mistake - car parking in shrewsbury starts from £2 per day - on street parking is directly outside Tudor house and is free after 6 in the evening - we are surrounded by car parks that are secure with cameras 24 hour a day and warden officers we also have £1 park and ride Mr...

Spent a few days here with the girls on a 40th Birthday weekend and I have to say it was exceptional. Not only did the proprietors Sue and Kevin bend over backwards to make this stay really special for the group but it was so lovely there it was like home from home. The shops were all on the doorstep... more

We live about 3 miles from Tudor House and have often said how beautiful it looks and how well it is located at the centre of this beautiful market town, so when the opportunity came to have a weekend "away", where else to stay but Tudor House? We have travelled the world and stayed in every sort of accommodation but... more

After reading the reviews my wife and I decided to give Tudor House a try, and booked for a 2 night stay. At nearly 550 years old it has character in abundance. It is set in the heart of historic Shrewsbury, and yet it's location is wonderfully quiet. The building is an absolute gem. It is spotlessly clean. It has been... more

Tudor House is absolutely delightful, one of the loveliest B&B's I've ever stayed in. After having spent a lot of time surfing the internet for a place to stay in Shrewsbury, finally plumped for the Tudor House after seeing their website. Yes as people have already mentioned the rooms are small and the stairs steep but don't let that put... more

This was a charming B & B , built in 1460, small room, but very clean, nice breakfast. Caveat -- very steep stairs and room was on incline with low pitched roof. more
