Even though i am staying on business, I would definately return to this very warm and friendley hotel for leisure. Perfectly located for the town centre, with free parking, a lip smacking breakfast and an excellent pint served. Cant wait to return to Shrewsbury. more

Stayed for one night due to attending a meeting, when our colleagues had forgotten to book us rooms at the Prince Rupert. This hotel was probably more convenient in terms of nipping in to the office the following day, and was certainly clean and comfortable enough to meet our requirements. Small, cramped and ever-so-slightly shabby the Abbots Mead was at least clean. The breakfast fare was poor and no evening meals were served. Parking is restricted. I must learn not to trust reviews on websites such as these again. more
