Shresbury is a very historical town and Drapers Hall is at the centre of it, dating from the 1600s. The staff were very helpful and very attentive. The hotel is full of character and history, but modern at the same time. They have two lovely courtyards where you can sit outside with drinks and snacks (protected from the wind) till... More

Stayed one night in the Orange Room. The room was spacious containing a mix of antique and modern decoration. A lovely big comfy bed and the room was very quiet despite being above the bar and court yard. There was parking outside the back of the hotel with a back entrance into the hotel. The ever attentive manager was very friendly... More

After been taken to our table we had to wait 10 mins before a waitress came to take our drinks order and then another 10 before we received it which... More

My wife took me to the Draper's Hall restaurant for a meal on my return from 6 months away in Afghanistan. As she had eaten there before and was very impressed, she thought it would be the place to wean me off American style, mass produced dinner hall food. I was treated to the taster menu created by head chef... More

Travelled from London as a girly treat with my sister. Such a lovely place. The service from all the staff was brilliant. Unfortuantley we couldn't eat in the restaurant as it was full. Looking forward to going again and hopefully samplling the restaurant.

Thanks Drapers Hall for a beautiful hotel stay - we were very late for dinner but they still delivered a world class meal with no hesitation ! Lovely rooms and a relaxed but super professional atmosphere. Breakfast was divine !

First of all I had never been to Shrewsbury so I didnt know where to book - I booked this hotel for my boyfriend's birthday. It was lovely - a wee gem of a hotel with only 6 rooms. We had the 'wool suite' which was comfortable, old fashioned in a good way with sheepskin and cowskin rugs and lovely... More
