We may not have stayed and only went for a meal, but it was a meal up there with the very best. The service was good and the wine choices were also very good. We could not fault the food and would easily recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you to all the staff for helping make our evening out... More

We came here for our 10 year anniversary and had a great time. The hotel and restaurant has a great location in town for shopping and drinking. The room was lovely and the cocktail staff excellent. The mixologist (young blonde lad)was charming and made some best drinks i ever had. He was so good i can't remember his name lol

Stayed here for a single night whilst visiting Shrewsbury for a musical event not far from Draper's Hall. It wasn't easy to find the place as directions on the web site were sketchy at best and gave no info on how to find the reserved parking. I thought their website was pretty poor in all honesty, insufficient detail and looked... More

We also arrived to find our room had been double booked!! We had travelled for an hour for a very wasted day. We had booked a room and a table which was also cancelled so we couldn't even have an eveving meal there. It appeared there was a big group booking and we were "accidentally" double booked. So disappointed was... More

Don't get me wrong, we have stayed here and food fantastic, rooms are beautiful and breakfast is amazing, however we get to have two weekends a year "child free" and on BOTH occasions Drapers double booked us, this time (today) we never even had a phone call, they booked us into a hotel OUTSIDE the town (3 miles out) that... Me and my partner booked the Wool room for our anniversary for one night. The room was beautiful, clean and very comfy. The bed was amazing. All facilities worked. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and very well cooked. The decor was gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I couldnt recommend it enough. :)

Spent a lovely night at Drapers Hall Hotel, in the Orange Room which was a delightful room over looking the rear car park so nice a quiet. The hotel is a boutique style hotel with each room decorated slightly differently. I loved the old building, a wooden framed building built in 1485...yes you read it right. The building has bags... Elegence - old fashioned service - - just treat yourself to this amazing place - have a meal here !!! I visit a lot of accommodation as this beats the lot - ask for the lime suite !! You know when it's different when there is no menu for breakfast and you get asked "what would you like me to... More

Our stay at the Drapers Hall included lunch for me and my wife, dinner for four in the evening when we entertained two friends from Australia, a comfortable double bedroom and a light breakfast. It was a very enjoyable experience both spending time in such an historic building and being attended to by the friendly, efficient staff. The Maitre D'... More

A beautiful set of rooms. Ours was brimming with antique furniture and tasteful touches. Spotlessly clean, within the glorious sound of church bells and lovingly decorated, such a delightful place to stay would be difficult to find anywhere else in Shrewsbury. However, travellers should remember this is a five star restaurant with rooms, not a five star hotel. Don't expect... More
