A lovely contemporary style hotel in a great location for central Shrewsbury. The food was very good, both at breakfast and in the evening. A great big en-suite with decent shower and big fluffy towels. The hotel is on a main road but the hotel provides ear plugs and they worked fine for me.

Although a little difficult to find, the Lion and Pheasant has been lavished with obvious care and detail. Stayed here with a girlfriend for a girlie nights break . It was lovely. Beautifully done in its own paint colour! we had a super meal in the evening here, served by very pleasant staff who aim to please. Overall a really splendid place.

Fabulous food, fabulous service. We have been about 5 times to this restaurant and each time we've had an amazing meal. We've eaten the steak and lamb dishes mainly and they have been excellent. The petit fours finish the meal off nicely too.
