We were looking for a dog friendly property which would accommodate 12 people including some twin beds for children. We were impressed from the very beginning the property has plenty of space for everyone to meet together or alternatively have some quiet time apart. It worked perfectly. Everyone was impressed with the standard of the accommodation and how well it... More

We assembled here for my 60th Birthday bash. 16 of us so a full house. It was fantastic. Everyone was wowed with the main room. The location is lovely and no neighbours, so you can make as much noise as you like--and we are a noisy lot. The farmhouse style kitchen was great to sit around in, and cooking breaky... More

Windy Mundy Farm's threshing barn certainly has the 'wow' factor and we would be delighted to host you again on the Estate. So glad that you had a good walk and hopefully admired the stunning Shropshire Hill country and the world's oldest tree house near Pitchford Hall. More

Organised a uni reunion of 11 of us. The Herefordshire / Shropshire area works in terms of geography so we are working our way round the bigger properties in the area. The pluses : Good size house - could all have an en suite each ( in our 40s and don't want to share any more) comfy beds. Big living... More

Thank you for your kind comments about Windy Mundy Farm's 'big living room' and 'interesting renovation'. The fire place is certainly 'intriguing' and was designed by a French architect. The glass bricks are very much a feature of the house and part of the sensitive restoration of the threshing barn. We entirely agree with you about the information leaflet. A... More

We stayed at Windy Mundy in July for a family celebration. It was the perfect place to get away with all the family in such a beautiful setting. The farm house has been restored so that you get a sense of the original architecture with a huge open plan sitting/dining room with fireplace and enormous glass doors giving you a... More

I'm so glad you enjoyed Windy Mundy Farm and the history of the Estate. I hope you managed to see the world's oldest tree house which is on the edge of the Estate close to the Elizabethan Pitchford Hall. Entirely agree with you about the restaurants in Ludlow - I would encourage all our guests to visit Ludlow - it's... More

I recently booked and stayed at Windy Mundy for a stag do. Booking direct with the estate was easy and communication with the owners was regular and uncomplicated. Finding a house of this quality willing to accept stag do bookings is rare, but this place is a real gem. The house was impeccably clean when we arrived and has everything... More

A very unusual place to stay. Set in rolling Shropshire countryside with plenty of accommodation . We stayed there for a family celebration weekend. Large sitting area, good selection of bedrooms, with ensuite. Large well equipped kitchen good for large family breakfasts. This was a lovely place set out of the way in Shrewsbury. We had issues with the heating which were sorted within the hour by the owner (who is only a short drive away). The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking with almost every utensil you could ever want. There was loads of space and the bedrooms are all spread... More
