The hotel is located in the heart of Shrewsbury within walking distance of the main sights in the city. Although there is no on-site parking, short- and long-term public parking is available within a few minutes walk. "Reception" (at the bar) was friendly, quick and efficient and the bedrooms are modern, well-appointed and comfortable. These are located over a modern bar-restaurant... More

Avoid room 5. It has the generator outside the window - which is on until late and starts up early - and the room is `cosy` for a couple. the bathroom was large but wasn't heated during our stay in November. However, while mid-week, there was no noise from the outside street and the evening meal was very good and... More

We stayed in the twin room (no 3). The room was comfortable with modern furnishing and a great sized bathroom and shower. Plenty of teabags, milk, coffee, sugar etc. Friendly staff and great location. It was quite noisy late at night and we thought breakfast would be included in price (£70). Would definitely stay here again.

my husband and i enjoyed staying in this hotel as firstly, the staff are very helpful and friendly, secondly, the private and public areas are pleasantly decorated and thirdly, it is well-positioned in the town centre . Our one criticism is that the family room has only sufficient space for two people to be comfortable (and that is once the... More

Surprisingly cozy. Our room was a bit small, but with big toilet and shower room (nearly as big as the room itself). The shower cubicle was big as well, and the shower very efficient. The room and toilet were clean and newly refurbished. The twin beds were quite small, but very comfortable, so we did still manage to sleep very... More

What a great place to stay. Rooms are great value for money. Modern clean well decorated and perfectly adequate. Staff are amazing so attentive more than accommodating and really fun people. Excellent central location. Never ate there but food looked great. Compared with other places in the area for the same rate Morgans wins hands down.

To be fair the hotel is clean and comfortable but nothing stands out for positive reasons. When we booked the confirmation stated there is free parking nearby but when we went in to ask the staff no-one knew about this and we were directed to an NCP (note there is an overnight carpark closer to the hotel than the NCP... My first reaction to booking a room above a bar in the middle of town was that surely it's going to be very noisy, but having read the other reviews they seemed to say noise was minimal, but it seems my first reaction was the right one. Saturday night the bars open until 2am and our room (v. small double... More

A nice enough hotel for the price. The bar was pleasant, the room itself although small was modern, fresh and clean. However.... I was given a code to let myself in late at biggt. Unfortunately I misplaced rhe slip of paper it was written on. Subsequently I couldn't get into the hotel! There were bi staff afternidbight and bi emergency... More

We booked this hotel for a 2 night stay with our 5 year old and 1 year old. The hotel was in a great location, right in the heart of Shrewsbury. From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room (room 2) was spacious enough for the 4 of us and was clean and comfortable.... More
