Just got back from 3 nights at this hotel. Very disappointed. Grubby entrance to the hotel area, noisy drunks hanging around where we were told to park cars. Horrendous bathroom, toilet that doesn't flush properly, only enough water for one person to take a bath, then have to wait hours for the tank to fill up for another. Screeching water... More

Accommodation is better than the style of pub suggests: rooms were comfortable, breakfast was good and service was friendly. There was a lot of noise coming up from the pub (it was a Saturday night). Location is good for the centre of Ludlow.

We didn't stay overnight, but just had Lunch on day visit from Telford. We had Surf & Turf and I can't tell you how pleased we were with our Steaks cooked Succulently to our request! The Cole Slaw salad was obviously home made and the colourful mixed peppers in the salad were also a great touch! I searched out the... More

We stayed here yesterday. We only live in Shrewsbury and were visiting Ludlow for a friends birthday party at the Brewery so shared a triple room with family (Room 2). We arrived to a busy pub and was told me had to pay on arrival. I generally would of liked to see the room first but we needed to settle... More

We stayed for just the one Saturday night and the frontage was covered in scaffolding (which was being taken down on the Sunday) so I think it has had a face lift. Parking was easy in the old courtyard. The Hotel didn't open until 12 noon so we went for a wander. Upon return we were shown to our room... More

My partner booked The Bull via LateRooms on Sunday 26th October and we travelled up to Ludlow for our stay on Monday 27th October. As we entered the bar the barmaid looked less than pleased that she had to serve us and didn't once crack a smile. Her customer service skills were dreadful. The manageress (Debbie) however, was lovely. There... More

This is an interesting building, very old indeed so it's a bit of a rabbit warren and the floors are understandably uneven in places. The staff were welcoming and helpful and once we had found out that a room thermostat had been turned down, the room was warm; the beds were very comfortable and it's very clean. It's right in...
